A movement in the garden caught Heidi’s attention immediately. Yes, it’s that day again. Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m not overly excited, as me and my OH celebrated it by disappearing off to York for the weekend. Despite the freezing (and below) temperatures, we had a lovely time and exchanged our cards then. But, as usual, weekends are over far too quickly and it’s back to work!

I never bothered my father with my concerns. After all, as long as she liked him, what did it matter?
