Competition – Win a Copy of Sex, Love and Valentines

Sex, Love and Valentines - Xcite Books26th January 2010 – As you know, Valentine’s Day is approaching. In celebration, the lovely people at Xcite Books have given me three copies of smutty anthology Sex, Love and Valentines to give away.

Featuring my story, E620, the book includes some of the best names in erotica: Justine Elyot, Jeremy Edwards, Shanna Germain, Roger Frank Selby, Primula Bond, Janine Ashbless and Charlotte Stein, to name but a few.

If it all sounds a bit soppy for you, though, you needn’t worry. Sex, Love and Valentines isn’t all hearts and flowers. Sure, they’re involved in some of the titillating tales, but it’s definitely more romping than romance on the minds of the characters nestling between the covers.

So… onto the competition. Three lucky winners will win a copy of this sexy collection. All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a comment on this post telling us what you’re hoping for this Valentine’s Day. Competition closes on 7th February. Get your entries in today – and share this with your friends!

  • cw1985
    Sounds romantic!
  • Deeceeha
A big hug and an 'I love you' would be lovely, but I'll probably have to make do with hugging the cat and listening to him complaining about how commercialised Valentine's Day is. What a difference to when we first met! I could go on .......... and on .........
    x
  • cw1985
Aww, it doesn't have to be commercial. It's a nice excuse to do something nice for your OH!

    Excellent! :)
  • fairy89
My fella lives 250 miles away, me in suffolk, him in mid wales, so I'm hoping that we will actually get to spend the weekend together - if work doesn't hold us down.
I'd love a night in, yummy food, a good film, and a lovely candle lit bath...followed by.... ;) After 5 weeks of being apart, some passion would top the day off nicely!
  • cw1985
Sounds lovely - and here was me thinking I had a long-distance relationship! 60-odd miles doesn't seem so bad now! :)

For valentines this year I would like My Husband to help me with the bath and story time routine with our boys so we can get them into bed early. maybe then we can have a nice meal and an early night ourselves...
  • cw1985
Perhaps even with bathtime of your own!
  • I am going away for the weekend, so breakfast in bed at the hotel, followed by a shower together, then a spot of hanky panky, lunch out and a bit of shopping will be lovely!
  • cw1985
Sounds fun, where are you off to?
  • sannyb
ooohhhh I would like Breakfast in Bed, him to cook lunch, do the ironing, washing, run me a lovely bubbly bath, then a nice massage, but hey, a girl can dream
Football on Saturday, no chance of Romance on Sunday, He'll be too hungover, lol
  • cw1985
Sounds like his loss to me!
  • Jo
Getting a card is great, but what I really love is when (without having to ask) he runs a lovely warm deep bath for me & puts some candles around it. Scrubs my back, makes a drink and we have an early night. Some quality time enjoyed together and it doesn't have to cost alot.
  • cw1985
I agree. Me and my OH set a budget of £5 plus card - which is good fun. We have to get something that's really fitting to the other person, which is no mean feat for £5!
  • A weekend away & a damn good time :-)
  • cw1985
Fingers crossed. Hope you've been dropping hints!
  • Gilla
A card and a cuddle and I'll be quite happy.
  • cw1985

Reality hits and i realise it will be me doing all the arangements and even have to give him ideas what to ge me as he is useless at pressie ideas xxx
  • cw1985

  • cw1985
Fingers crossed you win the competition then!
  • Piperty Jones
Hope he cooks me dinner at home... as I think restaurants with loads of couples squashed in are v unromantic...bottle of red....chocolate... my choice of movie on Box Office and then maybe a little massage and see where we go, he he!
  • cw1985
I agree. It's nicer to spend time with one another - rather than lots of random strangers!
  • ravernoloo

  • SammyFace
As Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year - I'm hoping my OH will make me a cuppa in bed and offer to take the pooches out for a walk while I have a lie in. He'll then come back for a cuddle and we'll put on a big log fire and do not a great deal.
  • cw1985
Sounds good. I'm sure lots of people like the fact it's on a Sunday!
  • Cathy
I hope my hubby stops behaving like an arsewipe, and actually starts taking my feelings into consideration. Divorce?
  • cw1985
    LOL. You never know...
  • For my boyfriend to have the sunday off work without having to be asked and the kids to behave for the day or is that being to greedy.
  • cw1985
No, you're not asking for much really! :)
  • I would like a necklace as a keepsake, I always get red roses which is lovely but they don`t last. I will have to give a few hints. Then again both would be nice. x
  • cw1985
I prefer to have something I can keep, too.
  • wendy42
anything from the other half wd be a miracle!!
  • cw1985
    Miracles can happen...
  • Well this will be our second Valentine's Day since we adopted two children and last year's started well but ended disastrously. Hubby took me out for a meal and my parents babysat for us. However, our little boy, then 3, was busy projectile vomiting while we were out so we came home to a stressed Nan and Grandad and a poorly little boy. So much for enjoying a relaxing evening. So this year, we'll try again. I just want a vomit free night lol.
  • cw1985
Oh no! I definitely hope this year is better for you!
  • me too lol
  • madmagz22
Oh I would love some flowers but after 27 Valentine's day without any cant see it changing this year! Still love him tons though i must do after 27 years together!
  • cw1985
Aww, not even a card? :(
  • madmagz22
Nope! lol Its my birthday on the 12th so says enough pennies to spend! I dont mind really , he is good to me in other ways!
  • for my hubby to get a half day so he can cook one of his wonderful sunday lunches as it falls on sunday and he at work all day.
  • cw1985
Ooh, sounds good. I love a nice Sunday lunch.
  • soggykipper
A nice card and a bunch of droopy half dead supermarket flowers is my usual offering and if that's all I get again this year, then that's okay, because he still thought of me and that is all that counts :)
  • cw1985
    That's lovely :)
  • Lesley
It would be great to get a lovely bunch of flowers for the big V day this year but usually he forgets so just an acknowledgement would be good! ;-) lol
  • cw1985
Aww, you never know - he might surprise you! :)
