News and Gossip! #bargains #sale #amwriting #comingsoon #giveaway

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I posted an update on here as things have been so crazy, so here goes…

tourbutton_unconditionalsurrenderIf you follow the blog, you’ll know that the Unconditional Surrender bundle went live and has been doing really well. Hurrah! The price just went up today (it’s been on sale for the first week of release), but I still think it’s an absolute steal for 13 m/m military novellas. Also, the collection is currently on tour, so if you follow the tour you can enter the fantastic giveaway each day. Check today’s out here – which is my turn putting my character, Hugh Wilkes, in the hot seat.

We’ve also received some fantastic reviews for the collection:

“This was a fantastic bundle and well worth the read. There are several stories in here that I would love to see the characters revisited in full length novels. These were great teasers that whet my appetite and left me wanting more. The variety that you get with this bundle is incredible from all the different branches of the military, some active and some retired, some dealing with wounds and/or PTSD, there is truly something for everyone.” 4 out of 5, Guilty Indulgence Book Club

“Unconditional Surrender is a great bundle set of gay romance featuring men of the military. There is a little something for everyone in here. The romances range from sweet to so erotic they will make you blush.” 4 out of 5, The Jeep Diva

“If you want a quick read with a lot of different types of stories, all involving hot military men, then you will like this collection.” 4 out of 5, Inked Rainbow Reads

If you’ve read the bundle, and are looking for some more m/m goodness, check out: Pack of Lies, Letters to a War Zone, Illicit Relations and Ditched.

If, on the other hand, you’re looking for more bargain reads, check out Timeless Desire (M/F paranormal erotic romance) and Weekend at Wilderhope Manor (F/F paranormal erotica) which are both currently available at just $0.99/77p. They’re also both pretty spooky, so ideal for the time of year 😉

In news of upcoming titles, short story fans are in for a good time…

Next month, I’m releasing a collection of erotic short stories – most of which have been previously published, but I still retain the rights. So keep yours eyes peeled for Multi-Orgasmic.

I’m also delighted to announce I have a story in the upcoming Cougars anthology from the fabulous Ladylit. It’s called Returning Riley, and the collection is due to hit digital shelves in early November.

Last, but not least, Sapphic Smut is also forthcoming. This anthology, which I both contributed to and edited, contains stories from yours truly, Kay Jaybee, Louisa Bacio, Sallyanne Rogers, Vanessa de Sade, Tabitha Rayne and Elizabeth Coldwell.

Event wise, Smut Manchester will soon be upon us! So if you’re looking for a fantastic day featuring all things smutty, then get yourself to Manchester on the 15th November. I’ll be there selling books, giving away goodies and reading from my work. I hope to see you there.

Before then, the Brit Babes are having a Halloween party on Facebook! Join here for laughs, fun, prizes and more!

At the moment, writing wise, I’m in m/m-land. I’m currently working on a novella for a bundle I’m putting together with Lily Harlem (more on that soon). It’s called Love on Location and my Muses for this project are Benedict Cumberbatch and Prince Harry. Hot, huh?

Once that’s done and dusted, I’ll be working on a m/m uniform story for an anthology – so please keep your fingers crossed that they like it! 😉

After that… who knows? I’d really like to start work another novel, but realistically it won’t happen until early next year. So let’s hope I can write fast!

Phew, that was a lot of news in a short space of time. If you want to keep up with everything and have the details delivered directly to your inbox, then considering signing up for my monthly newsletter here.

So naturally when he returns to me, our emotions can’t fail to run hot and our lust for each other cranks up to sky-high levels. But the one thing about Jack is he lives for the extreme and seizes the moment. I really should have known what would come of me telling him my wildest fantasies.

Oh, yes, he’s a guy who gets results…and when he brings home his colleague Slider, equally tough, equally rough, the pair of them can’t fail to hit the target. That target happens to be lucky old me and I head off on the ride of my life…

Reader Advisory: This book contains D/s elements and a MMM ménage.

‘An Act of Duty’ by Elizabeth Coldwell

When duty becomes mixed up with desire, can a battle-scarred soldier leave behind the horrors of war and enter a world of fantasy and fulfilment?

For Corporal Mark Stockdale, a trip to Amsterdam won’t just provide some much-needed R and R away from the horrors of the Afghanistan battlefield — it’s also a way of keeping a promise to a fallen comrade. But violence has a way of seeking Mark out, even in the most peaceful of locations, and when he stops for a drink in a quiet bar, he finds himself stepping in to help its owner, Robin Sneijder, fight off a group of opportunist thieves. Robin shows his gratitude, and Mark is stunned by the depth of the passion between them, and when Mark wakes in the night from a vivid nightmare of the attack that killed his best friend, Ozzy, Robin is there to comfort him.

Robin seems like the perfect partner, and what started as an act of duty turns into an unforgettably erotic encounter. But when Robin confesses he has an overwhelming urge to submit to a hunk in army uniform, Mark is not sure whether he can put aside the realities of war and fulfil his new lover’s most cherished desires. Can he separate fact and fantasy, and give Robin the domination he craves?

Reader Advisory: This book contains graphic descriptions of a roadside explosion, and acts of domination and submission between men.

‘Trusting the Army Captain’ by Noelle Keaton

When it comes to choosing between advancing his career in the army or being truthful with the man he loves, Patrick learns everything ultimately boils down to trust.

Ambitious army captain, Patrick Bosworth, is eager to advance in his career so that he can live up to his family’s distinguished legacy. But having been passed over for promotion to major twice already, Patrick fears his career has stalled. He worries he’ll never match the accomplishments of other family members, especially his brother, a Bronze Star recipient recently promoted to lieutenant colonel.

When a superior office suggests a way to get the promotion that involves gathering information on a fellow army captain in the Medical Corps, Patrick reluctantly agrees to participate. He regrets the assignment almost immediately, especially when he falls for Craig, the guy he’s supposed to be investigating.

When he forms a passionate and intense bond with Craig, Patrick finds it difficult to separate where his professional obligations end and his personal feelings begin. After working for so long to prove himself a worthy member of his accomplished military family, Patrick has to decide if finally finding the love of his life is worth sacrificing advancement in the army, or even giving up his career itself.

In the Pages of a Good Book is One!

Blog-Invite-300x264In the Pages of a Good Book is celebrating its one year anniversary! Congratulations!

The celebration involves a blog hop around the theme of friendship. So I’m going to share a little snippet from Letters to a War Zone, which is an m/m military erotic romance novella. As the title hints, my characters write to each other, establishing a good friendship long before they even meet in the flesh…

*****

“Hi,” he said, hoping his voice didn’t really sound as high-pitched as it had seemed to his own ears. “Great to see you. Come on in. Do you have any more bags I can get from the car for you?”

“Hi, Bailey. Great to see you, too. And nope, this is it.” He stepped over the threshold and put his case and bag down next to him, then held out his hand.

Bailey closed the door and took Nick’s hand, and they shook heartily. It felt odd, doing something so normal, so innocent as shaking hands, when what Bailey really wanted to do was something much ruder. Nick was even hotter in the flesh than he was in his photograph, and his looks, voice and personality combined were perfection. Then he had to go and wear the damn uniform, didn’t he? He could admit it only to himself, but deep down, part of the reason he’d started the whole pen pal thing in the first place was because he was a fan of men in uniform. And Nick was most definitely a fine example.

“Run out of clean civvies?” he said, before he could stop himself. Why? Why had he drawn attention to the uniform? Idiot.

Nick laughed. “Not quite, but as you can see, I’ve packed light and I wanted to make sure I’ve enough clean clothes for tomorrow and for the holiday. I may have to find a launderette at some point while we’re away.”

“So you’re wearing the uniform all day?” Now his voice definitely had a higher pitch than it should do.

“Yeah, why? Have you got a problem with it?”

“N-no, quite the opposite, actually.”

Who Loves Men in Uniform? #aremeninuniformmonth

Hi all,

As regular visitors to my blog, or those that are friends with me on social media probably already know, I’m a sucker for men in uniform… especially military uniforms 😉

So when I found out it was Men in Uniform month over at ARe Cafe, I was delighted. I’ve done a blog post for them which will go live next week (I’ll share this on my social networks when it’s up), but I thought it would also be a good opportunity (read: excuse) to remind other uniform fans about the books I’ve written in this genre. I’m sticking with military uniforms for now. Maybe I’ll do another post later in the month with the other uniforms I’ve penned. So, here goes…
