Six Sentence Sunday – 25/9/11

The Look of LustI’m going for something a little different this week. Here’s a snippet from my story Farm Hand, which appears in the anthology The Look of Lust from Xcite Books. More info here.

Also, to comment on this post, it’s the link at the top ^^ – not the bottom. Thanks guys!

As Ramona made her way down the gravel track, she spotted some farm buildings. Glancing down at her map, she nodded. Her route would take her right through the farm yard and then the public footpath continued over a stile into the adjacent field.

She just hoped she didn’t meet any hostile dogs: or geese. She shuddered. Geese could be vicious creatures.

Geese can be vicious creatures, and swans, too. I wonder what she’ll meet… Great six! 🙂

Yes, geese are vicious. They hiss like cats when you get too close to them…and considering my dogs are half their size, I always get worried when they go off lead in the park!

Geese! *shudder* she should run, not walk, just in case 😀

Can’t wait to see what she meets at the end of her journey.

    Great 6

Wow, you conjured up a bad memory of being chased by a flock of angry geese. They’re worse than dogs. 🙂 Great six.

Geese can be vicious. My lil sister is still scared of them because one attacked her when she was small.

Love it that she’s more worried about the possibility of meeting up with geese and not the dogs

Considering what she’s likely to find given the genre, the comment about the geese is great!

Well done six. Looking forward to the rest.

(I HATE geese. Especially when they march up to you as you’re minding your own business, just strolling along the footpath made for HUMANS, stick their tongues out at you and hiss! Filthy creatures.)
