Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to talk a little about the setting for Pack of Lies, which is a paranormal erotic romance novel. The setting is a beautiful village called Eyam (pronounced Eem), which is in Derbyshire, England. It’s also in the Peak District—which is my very favourite place to spend time.

It’s quite an old-fashioned village—at least at its heart. There are newer properties creeping in around the edges, but there are still lots of very old houses and cottages, lots of remnants from the past, and all surrounded by stunning countryside. It’s also steeped in history, which naturally brings in lots of tourists. And well it should, it’s a fascinating place, with a museum, a village square, a stately home and a lonely moor on the outskirts.
