Excerpt:

5A – Jillian Boyd

Hey 6B,

Maybe next time I could watch you?

X 5A

It took me a moment to adjust to the sudden flash of brightness in the lobby, the motion lights having switched themselves on after I opened the main doorway to my block of flats. But after I’d blinked my eyes back to normal, I became very, very aware of the little pink sticky note stuck to my mailbox. Pink note, red ink, message that left me with a red-hot, full body blush in a matter of seconds.

***

My body was fine. I had good breasts, good hips, a nice tummy, and a decent ass. I just really didn’t want to bare any of it. Single, not really looking, a few too many rejections and moments which made me question myself, it had all led me to keep nudity between me and my shower. But this guy, this towering specimen of man, had no such qualms. And as the days turned into two weeks, I couldn’t keep myself from keeping watch over him. He fascinated me, so much so that he had, almost unconsciously, crowbarred his way into my thoughts. I didn’t even know his name, but I knew his body. 5A, with a rose vine tattoo snaking across his right thigh. 5A, pierced left nipple, auburn curls feathering his chest, ass you could probably bounce a quarter off, if you so wished.

Maybe, just maybe, I was a little bit in lust with him. Or maybe, just maybe, the image of him fuzzed over throughout the day, and part of the excitement of it all was seeing him all anew in the evenings. And then I did see him all anew.

***

It was about eleven o’clock when the noise from the apartment above mine startled me awake from a sleep I hadn’t even realized I’d drifted into. My foot bashed against my netbook, perched precariously in front of the sofa, and I swore to no one but my own echo when I noticed not only a familiar light but a familiar figure at the window opposite mine.

5A. Seemingly freshly showered, hair scruffy, in a bathrobe, holding up a little sign. Hiya! Didn’t mean to scare you the other day!

***

I think I want you to watch me. But I need time. Just a bit of time. I want to watch me first.

I watched myself the next night, post-shower, muscles relaxed and the weight of the world washed off my shoulders. I watched my fingers slide down from the nape of my neck, to the span of my shoulders, down to the tops of the valley of my breasts. They lingered there, like they were waiting for permission to reach out and touch. When I did touch, tentatively at first, softly second, cupping and exploring and pinching my little pink nipples to erect buds, a hot shiver ran down my spine.

The Allure of Priests by Torrance Sené (@torrancesene)

Thanks for having me! Since my book deals with a taboo subject, I thought I would talk a little bit about the forbidden and why it’s so alluring.

First off, fiction is a medium that lets us explore hidden pieces of ourselves, especially our sexuality. As such, I don’t feel kink should be watered down in stories. To water it down perpetuates the notion that we should feel shame for what arouses us, especially if those things are taboo or forbidden. The beauty of fiction is that it allows us to dabble in things we might not be interested in within our reality.

Erotic writing is a vital branch of sexual expression. Just because something remains a fantasy, doesn’t mean it should be ignored or repressed. Knowing what arouses us and being able to articulate it helps to increase communication with our partners and ourselves, and it can also lead to more satisfying sexual experiences.

The topic of my anthology is priest erotic romance, let me list out some reasons why the theme pulls me in:

#1 – They Are Off Limits

Ikolotas0 / Pixabay

If you tell me I’m not supposed to have or want something, it’s only going to make me want it more. That’s human nature, my friends. People of the cloth are attractive because they are supposed to be removed from earthly desires. Sex is mostly seen as something unclean within Christianity. The idea of “corrupting” the chaste and having them struggle against their vows is ridiculously enticing to me. I love the juxtaposition of sin and holiness, exploring where divinity and blasphemy collide between love and lust.

#2 – They Wear Uniforms

Senlay / Pixabay

I mean, come on. Who doesn’t love a monochrome (often tailored) outfit? Okay, part of this for me is the fact that Hollywood keeps putting incredibly sexy men in dog collars. Dominic Cooper. Jared Padalecki. Ewan McGregor. Lee Pace. James Norton. Luke Macfarlane. I could go on… So really, it isn’t my fault… *shifty eyes, smirks*

Would it shock you all to know I have a thing for cops too? Probably not lol.

#3 – Ritualism

Myriams-Fotos / Pixabay

The ritualism and protocol of Catholicism, in particular, reminds me a lot of D/s. The shepherd, the mentor, the teacher, the gentle or chastising hand that leads you to be the best you can be… Tell me that’s not the same as a Dominant? The kneeling, the supplication, the service to something outside of yourself… There’s where we find our submissive. It’s alluring and sensual to me and lends itself beautifully to roleplay and fantasy.

* * * * *

Sacred and Profane

Ten stories of temptation, romance, and blasphemy featuring Sonni de Soto, Piper Denna, Torrance Sené, Charlotte French, Bronwyn Green, Leandra Vane, Mira Stanley, Jordan Monroe, H K Carlton, and Jillian Boyd.

Not even men of the cloth are exempt from God’s greatest gift: Love. In Sacred and Profane: Priest Erotic Romance, you’ll find stories of clergymen stepping outside their vows, pastors weaving divinity into their seductions, nuns and parishioners confessing to their body’s every earthly desire, and more.

Are you aroused by the blasphemous dance of sex and religion? The dangerous edge of eroticism contained within submission to something beyond oneself? The taboo juxtaposition of holy and sensual? Then Sacred and Profane welcomes you.

I’m giving away a copy of the ebook and a $10 Amazon gift card here!

Lucy’s Review:

This is, for sure, an intriguing theme for an anthology and one I was very interested to explore. On the whole, I enjoyed it. As with pretty much all anthologies, there were some stories and writing styles that I liked better than others, but that’s just a matter of personal taste. The stories I did enjoy were super-hot and super-naughty, and all will no doubt appeal to fans of the taboo. The only downside for me was that perhaps the theme was a little bit too niche, because some of the stories felt quite similar.

Cheyenne Blue Stops by to Discuss First Times (@iamcheyenneblue) #lesfic #lesbian #erotica #romance

Thank you, Lucy, for hosting me today, and to your many readers for (hopefully) reading!

FirstFirst: Sensual Lesbian Stories of New Beginnings edited by Cheyenne Blue. (www.cheyenneblue.com) out now from Ladylit Publishing (www.ladylit.com)

The theme for First may seem obvious—you’re probably thinking this is another anthology of first lesbian sexual experiences.  Well, yes… and very definitely no.

There are some very fine stories of first time lesbian sex in this erotic collection, however the majority of stories have taken a different first time experience and woven the erotic around this.  First times can exhilarating, mind-blowing, breath-taking and make memories that last forever.  Or they can be shot through with anxiety, fear, redemption, or anger. All of these emotions are found in the fifteen stories that make up First.

Blurb

Dive into these fifteen sizzling tales of lesbian love and romance and experience the wonder, the joy, and the magic of new beginnings.

A woman sees her lover for the first time after years of blindness. For the first time in her life, a top trusts her girlfriend enough to let her take control. A connection forged in a bar in New Mexico encourages a breast cancer survivor to take a lover. Stories of new love and first lesbian encounters intermingle with other emotional and physical firsts, and the excitement of new experiences: an around the world flight, the thrill of a carnival, and even the first time to see the sea.

With fantastic stories by favorite writers such as Sacchi Green, Harper Bliss, Annabeth Leong, Allison Wonderland, and Jeremy Edwards, the variety in this anthology means there is something for everyone.

Not Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate – Inspiration for a Choccyrotica Story by Slave Nano

More Smut for ChocoholicsMore Smut for Chocoholics is a collection of erotic short stories edited by Tilly Hunter and Kevin Blisse on the theme of chocolate. The anthology is all about over-indulgence and taking wicked delight in the erotic consumption and use of chocolate.  It includes stories by Tilly Hunter, Victoria Blisse, Aurelia T Evans, Lucy Felthouse, Ruby Madsen, Jacqueline Brocker, Vanessa de Sade, Wendi Zwaduk, Jillian Boyd, Nicole Gestalt, Annabeth Leong and Anna Sky.

My contribution to More Smut for Chocoholics is a story called ‘Los Conquistadores and the Goddess of Chocolate’. The story is a humorous one and follows two adventurers, Juan and Alonso who, inspired by stories about the legendary Aztec city, desert from Cortez’s army of conquistadores to seek out an erotic paradise fuelled by the drink xocolatl made from the cacao bean. In the story Juan and Alonso get to sample the aphrodisiacal qualities of the Aztec beverage. But be warned, this drink is no Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate!

Pouring chocolateIt was the Europeans who sweetened and lightened the drink by adding refined sugar and milk and it wasn’t until the 19th century when John Cadbury (why isn’t this man a saint!) developed an emulsification process to make solid chocolate to create the modern chocolate bar.

No, the Aztec version of drinking chocolate was a very different beast. The cocoa beans were ground to a powder and other ingredients, corn and spices such as chillies, were added. The resulting powder was mixed with cold water and stirred with a spoon until foam rose to the surface. The mixture would be poured from one ceramic vessel to another to enhance the foam. Sometimes it was prepared not as a beverage but with a texture more like porridge.

The resulting drink was dark, greasy, thick and bitter tasting. In fact, it sounds quite disgusting!

If you want to give it a try yourselves I’ve found a recipe for an authentic Aztec Chocolate Corn Drink:

¼ cup dry corn

1 Mexican vanilla bean (cooked in 1 cup water)

¼ lb cocoa beans, dark roasted

¾ cup honey

Dried chilli peppers to taste

Toast the corn in a dry frying pan and soak overnight in a cup of water. The next day grind the cocoa beans in a blender with enough hot water to form a sauce then mix in the honey and ground dried chillies. Boil the vanilla bean in a cup of water for about 10 minutes and add that to the corn and chocolate mixture. Blend all the ingredients together with icy water. The chillies are optional!

So, there you go – an authentic Aztec xocolatl as experienced by Juan and Alonso, the two conquistadores in my story. I’ve got to confess I’ve not tried the recipe myself. I think I’ll stick to a bar of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk!

Story extract

The high priestess had laid out ceramic vessels at the foot of the great statue of Ixcacao.  She had taken the red pods of the cocoa plant and ground their beans into a powder.  She blended a small amount of corn and other secret spices.  This was all mixed with water and stirred in the ceramic bowl until froth rose to the top of the mixture.  She poured the drink out into a set of smaller ceramic bowls decorated with the image of a jaguar-headed man.

“The xocolatl is prepared, “announced Ixquic.  “You must come forward and receive it.”

The two men were accompanied out of the plunge pool.  Alonso felt a bit disappointed; he was enjoying the attention of the girls, but Juan was eager with anticipation.  This was the moment he had been waiting for, the fulfilment of the erotic visions old Gonzalo had described to him.  The high priestess gestured to them to kneel in front of the statue of Ixcacao.

“You are privileged.  This is the food of the Goddess.”

She offered a bowl to each of them and at the foot of the statue and in the presence of her high priestess decorated in gold jewellery they took their first tentative sips.  At first they both pulled a face.  They didn’t know what to expect.  The beverage was thick, more like porridge than a drink.  It was greasy, dark and bitter.  They took a few more sips, conscious that this was clearly a ritual that should not be rushed and, in any case, the texture of the drink was such it could hardly be guzzled down.  It was Alonso who reacted first.

“Hmm, I’m not sure.  It’s a bit bitter.  I reckon if you added something to sweeten it and some milk to make it creamier and then squashed it down into little solid blocks you might be onto something.”

“Little blocks?  You come up with the most idiotic of ideas Alonso!”

New Release: Smut by the Sea Volume 2

Hurrah! I’m delighted to announce that Smut by the Sea Volume 2, edited by myself and Victoria Blisse, is now available. Here’s the skinny:

Light hearted, sexy fun by the sea is the theme of this erotic anthology, edited by Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

From the sun soaked beaches of Brazil to the altogether cooler coastal towns of England, Smut by the Sea Volume 2 has it all. Whatever your interpretation of naughty seaside fun, there’s something nestling between the covers for you. Amusement arcades, beach houses, mermaids, honeymooners, shipwrecks, sex toys and more abound in this exciting collection of stories from erotica’s finest authors.

Contains stories from Victoria Blisse, Tilly Hunter, Rachel Randall, Giselle Renarde, Tamsin Flowers, Lucy Felthouse, Kate Britton, Jillian Boyd, Bel Anderson, Cass Peterson, Delyth Angharad, T C Mill, Erzabet Bishop, Tenille Brown and Annabeth Leong.

And here’s an excerpt from my story, On the Big Wheel:

Brigit loved the seaside. She always had, probably because visiting it was a rarity. Living in the centre of England meant that even the nearest seaside town was over an hour and a half away—and the nice resorts even further.

Which was why her boyfriend, Allen, proposed a long weekend in Brighton. He knew how fond she was of the seaside. Unsurprisingly, she agreed delightedly.

“It’s a long way,” she said. “But it doesn’t matter. We’d never go anywhere if we lamented the length of the journey.”

As it happened, the travelling wasn’t too bad. Miraculously the M1 was clear all the way down to the M25—and even that notorious motorway wasn’t experiencing its usual havoc. A straight shot south on the M23, then the A23 took them towards Brighton, and they navigated the one-way systems and lack of road signs and—eventually—found their hotel.

“Wow,” Brigit said, stretching luxuriously after getting out of the car, “that didn’t take as long as I thought. Shall we check in, dump our bags and go and explore?”

“Sounds like a plan to me,” Allen replied with a grin.

They slammed their respective car doors, grabbed the bags from the boot and headed into the hotel. Fifteen minutes later, after using the toilet and freshening up, they were back outside.

“Nice choice of hotel, babe. I like it.” Brigit said.

“I’m glad. I researched it well,” Allen replied.

“The bed looks nice and comfy.”

“Well, I’m sure we’ll be able to give it a decent road test later.” He winked at her, and got a slap on the arm for his trouble.

“You’ve got a one-track mind, you have.”

“Well, what do you expect when I’ve got a girlfriend that looks like you?”

She giggled. “Charmer.”

“That’s me. Okay, now I’m back in good books,” Allen said, “what do you want to do? Now, I mean. Not at bedtime.” He waggled his eyebrows.

Brigit stuck her tongue out at him before replying. “I dunno. Just look around I guess. Get our bearings. See what there is to do around here.”

They walked hand-in-hand towards the seafront, then along it in the direction of the pier. They passed the burnt out shell of the West Pier, and Brigit wondered aloud whether it would ever be rebuilt or demolished. Or would the blackened skeleton be left there forevermore, a reminder of what once was.

Soon, they drew close to Brighton Pier. Brigit turned to Allen with a grin.

“What?” he said, then followed her almost manic gaze down the length of the pier, towards a building with fake turret-type things and some very real flags. He sighed. He couldn’t be sure from here, but he thought it was bound to be the amusement arcade. “Oh, you want to go in there, do you? I wonder why?” His voice was laden with sarcasm in his last sentence.

“You know damn well why. Come on!” Brigit tugged him along the last few metres of the pavement and onto the wooden slats of the pier. “Ooh, we can have fish and chips when we come out, if you want.”
