Involved in an unprecedented web of strange events, and wound in a string of lies about to break with devastating consequences, Winter must battle ghosts from her past that threaten to harm the man she loves.

Faced with a choice she always knew would be inevitable, and a secret of her own, can the fairytale Winter’s been living with Cayden beat the odds of their reality and really come true?

Excerpt:

Thirteen years ago, I died.

While my death hadn’t been physical, it became a never-ending death of the heart. A complete withering of the soul. You see, Austin Carlyle was my everything. My best friend. My lover. The very air I breathed. The sun in my world. My warmth. The beating of my heart. But the night before our wedding, my heart would be ripped from me when Austin’s life ended in a horrific car crash. A crash I ‘survived’ if that’s what you want to call it.

Unable to cope with Austin’s loss, I retreated deep within myself, eventually leaving New York and my broken past behind. I found some semblance of a new life in Colorado, living in the make-believe worlds of the novels I wrote.

Three weeks ago, I returned to the place I knew would hold all the ghosts of my past, though I came back to the Big Apple at the urging of an old acquaintance, Zander Harrison—Austin’s one-time agent and friend. He convinced me to help him with a script to a movie that had been put in a very expensive holding pattern. The leading man hadn’t been happy with the direction of the film and had requested Zander find me. I couldn’t imagine why. I wrote romance novels. I wasn’t a script writer. But something about my books captured Cayden—an A-list actor I’d never seen or heard of before. Of course, I’d soon find out not knowing who the actor was, was ridiculous. I might have been living in my own personal dark ages, but still. He was a megastar. However, the real shocker would be what I faced when memories from the past came back to haunt me.

Weak, bone-cold, sopping-wet, and on the verge of batshit crazy, I stumbled into someone on Valentine’s Day—of all days—who shook me to my very unsteady foundation. What I saw when I looked at him was the face of a destroying angel, because it was like looking back in time at Austin. Oh, there were a few things different, like the color of his hair being nowhere near the pitch black of Austin’s, but so much about the man was baffling. He was the same height—his build an exact match. His voice—eerily close in texture, tone, and inflection. But if that’s not strange enough, he spoke with the same cadence.

Who was he? The Hollywood heartthrob I’d never seen before—Cayden Cain.

After our bizarre ‘introduction’ the need to know more about him ate at me like the slow drip of acid. I had to find some answers, so I searched the internet. Surprised by the results of my search would be an understatement. It was all too much. Too unbelievable. Impossible. Cayden was twenty-three years old, the exact same age Austin was when he was killed, but even stranger, Cayden had been born in the same month, on the same day—May eighteenth—in the same city as Austin, only years later.

But that’s not all. There was a weird coincidence of Cayden being involved in a car accident. One which tragically took the lives of his parents and left him the sole survivor of that accident when he was ten, putting this terrible happening around the same timeframe as the wreck Austin and I were involved in. What was also baffling was the life path Cayden took—acting. It was very close to the path Austin had taken and would have continued to take if he’d been alive. By seventeen, Cayden had been the lead in a small foreign film and moved to Hollywood shortly after, gaining his groundbreaking role at the age of eighteen. The first movie Cayden obtained his superstar recognition for was Longing.

Before Austin’s death, he’d signed a movie deal with Paramount. What was the title of the movie he was to begin filming after our wedding? Longing.

When I first read that, I gaped—completely stunned. Then I read a synopsis of the movie, beyond shocked to see it wasn’t just a coincidence of the title; it was the exact same movie. I had no idea why Paramount shelved their project for so many years. But to find it had finally been completed with Cayden as the leading man, well, what were the odds of such a thing?

Even with all the uncanny coincidences and the almost carbon copy similarities in appearance, what was truly unbelievable? Cayden’s eyes—the same shades of blue from my past. They captured me, looking straight into my soul—the eyes of my love. My life.

Everything changed.

Trust me, I tried to fight against the truth—the pull I hadn’t felt in so very long—but it was no use. I’d come to believe, as crazy as it might seem, some way, somehow, Austin saved me through Cayden. It was as though they were two hearts, one soul. Cayden himself spoke as though he’d always known me. Missed me. Loved me even. I couldn’t explain how it was possible, but he, like Austin, was the missing piece of my heart.

With his touch, Cayden brought me back to life, reawakened dormant feelings, and gave me what had long been missing—Winter Perri. The only problem, I wasn’t sure I could live in Cayden’s superstar, paparazzi infested world.

“Will you stay with me?” he’d asked.

I gave the only answer that made any sense at all.

Always by London Saint James (@LSJRomance)

Thank you so much for having me on your blog to share a little bit about my new release, Always.

Some of you may remember this story as The Heart of Winter which was originally published in 2011 as a four book continuing series, Enchanted, Requiem, Revelation, and Eternal. While I have written many stories since then, Winter’s story was my first published set of novels. They say you never forget your first love and that’s true. Winter remains one of my favorite heroines and has always held a special place in my heart.

When the contract for this set of stories ended and the publishing rights came back to me, I knew I needed to retell it. Freshen it up. Add new content. So I stepped back into Winter’s world and made changes. Her entire story will be retold in a two book duet of novels.

I hope this new version of Winter’s story with bonus scenes will be one you fall in love with as much as I have.

Excerpt:

We were never going to get out of California!

“Looking at a five-hour delay,” the pilot said. “Bad weather at LaGuardia.”

Fantastic.

Austin put his arm around me, pulled me close, and whispered, “Do you have any idea how stunning you are when you’re mad?”

His tempting voice broke through my irritation like a sledgehammer, and without any control to stop it a smile crept over my face. “No, I don’t. Why don’t you tell me?”

“I only have five hours to tell you, so we better get started.”

I rolled my eyes. “I doubt it will take five hours to explain.”

Austin laughed his low musical laugh then tapped the tip of my nose with his index finger. “I know. I’ll need more time.”

If Austin hadn’t been with me, I would have been upset the entire time; however what could have been a taxing event was as usual made better by his always calming presence. He took me by the hand, without protest on my part, and led me over to a more secluded area of the airport, scurrying past an onslaught of people, baggage handlers, flight attendants, and airport security as if we were the only two people in the world.

He sat down, propped his back against the wall, and nestled me between his legs. I leaned my head against his right shoulder with my two hands resting on each of his denim clad knees as he talked in a low murmur into my ear. The sounds of the airport faded away. The footfalls of strangers left. The bustle of baggage being moved disappeared. The overhead announcements completely vanished, while Austin described to me in detail why he found me beautiful.

He told me about my mouth, the way it moved when I talked, the way my eyes flashed when I got irritated, or excited, and how my face looked when I was mad or jealous. He described the curve of my eye, the arch of my brows, the furrows that gather between them when I concentrate. He told me about the color of my eyes, describing them as emeralds cut with sparkling facets of light. He spoke of how I bite my bottom lip. How he loved to hear me sing to the radio in the shower, the sound of my laugh, and the way my face looked when I was happy—luminescent and bright. He even told me he loved it when I argued with him, watching that little huff of displeasure I made right before I caved in.

I smiled because he was right. He had the ability to make me cave no matter how ticked-off I might be.

Austin told me how he loved to watch me sleep—the peaceful expressions—the sound my heartbeat made as it thrummed. He spoke about my body, the way I moved, the sounds I made when we made love—the warmth of me. Then he threw in some hot, juicy details about his body and mine that made me blush.

This started another line of conversation which prolonged the rosy red sensation to my cheeks.

Then, Austin delved deeper. He told me how my fragility showed through my strength, my insecurities through my courage—how I’m more than body, more than flesh. He spoke of me as the essence of desire, beauty, intelligence, grace; more than a single truth, a single word, a single caress, or a simple breath. He explained I am a girl, a lover, a daughter, a friend, a woman, and someday I will be a mother. He expressed his longing to have children with me, saying he couldn’t wait to see my belly rounded with our child.

“I want a little girl with your eyes, your lips, and your smile,” he said.

“Maybe I want her to have your eyes, brilliant blue that shifts into silver,” I countered.

“All right then. We’ll have both. A compromise. One with your eyes and one with mine.”

“Don’t you want a boy?” I asked.

“Sure,” he said. “How about you?”

“I would love to have your son and watch him grow up to be a heartbreaker just like his father.”

Austin’s laugh vibrated across my cheek. “It’s settled. Two girls and a boy.”

As he combed his fingers through my hair, Austin told me who I am, and who I will always be to him. He held a mirror to my soul, allowing me the reflection of the woman I should be, the woman he has made me, the woman I have become—the simple complexity of me.

Outtake of London’s interview on Cinder’s tour bus with Cross de Raven and Eryk Hale.

LSJ: It took a little bit of doing between my schedule and yours, but thanks for making this interview happen.

Cross: It’s our pleasure, but we should be thanking you, London.

LSJ: Oh my God, ladies. I wish you could see his smile *Swoon*

Eryk: You know we’re happy to have you here. And, you’re right about schedules. You’re a busy lady.

LSJ: You know what they say. No rest for the wicked. *Smiles.* But, speaking of busy. You guys have one busy summer tour schedule.

Cross: Yeah. It kicked off in Tacoma, Washington. Sorry you couldn’t make it to our after party there.

LSJ: Aw…Thanks for inviting me. I wish I could have been there. But, I’m excited to be here at Metal Fest in San Jose, California. The crowd is huge.

Eryk: *Nods* It’s been a great crowd here in San Jose.

LSJ: Are you ready for guitar wars tonight?

Eryk: As ready as we can be.

LSJ: You’ve got some pretty stiff competition this year.

Cross: We do.

LSJ: Do you think you’ll be able to take the win?

Cross: *Winks* I’ve got a trick or two up my sleeve.

LSJ: *Blushes*

Eryk: *Grins and shakes his head*

LSJ: *Clears throat* Okay. I’ve been dying to ask this.

Cross: Shoot.

LSJ: Use only a one word answer. What’s it like to practically live on a tour bus with other guys?

Cross: *Chuckles* Crazy.

LSJ: Eryk?

Eryk: Noisy.

*Kris bounds up the stairs and into the living area, followed by Sayer and Fade who are punching each other in the arms*

Sayer: Stop it dickhead. *Shoulder bumps Fade*

Eryk: *Scrubs a palm down his face* Christ, guys. We’re in the middle of an interview.

Fade: *Green eyes snap in my direction* Well, well. If it isn’t, Lovely London. *He strolls over,  brushes my hair aside, bends, and kisses my cheek.* You smell good enough to eat.

LSJ: *Heart flutters wildly as Fade straightens*

Kris: Hey, London. *He strolls into the galley kitchen, opens the refrigerator, and grabs a beer* Want one?

LSJ: Um…No. I’m good. But, thanks.

Sayer: *Gives a two finger salute* Hi, London.

LSJ: *Wiggles in seat* Hi.

Fade: *One side of his mouth quirks up as he stares down at me*

Eryk: This is what’s it’s like to be on our tour bus with the guys.

LSJ: *Giggles*

Our choices are rarely cut and dry.

Sara: As the daughter of Senator and presidential hopeful Jentsen Holbrook, I spent a good deal of my life under public scrutiny. What I wore. Where I went. Who I dated. It was just the way of things. I’d become what was expected of me, until I ran from my obligations and woke up one morning in Cross de Raven’s and Eryk Hale’s world, two hot guitarists from the mega-famous metal band, Cinder. For the first time, freedom to be myself was within my reach. And along with that? Inevitable scandal.

Eryk: True beauty walked into my life, more beauty than I ever deserved. I partied hard. Rocked harder. I wasn’t good enough to touch Sara’s petal-soft skin, hold on tight, or love her, but regardless of my bad boy ways, no one was going to stop me from trying.

Cross: Sometimes, no matter how hard we fight for what we want, love won’t save the day, and truth doesn’t always set you free. Then again… Maybe, just maybe, when you find the one you’ve been searching for, love can find a way.

Every Single Part of YouAdult Excerpt:

I lowered myself into the warmth and sparkling bubbles. “This feels great,” I said, relaxing muscles I hadn’t even realized were stiff.

Turning my head, I watched Eryk and Cross. Boots were kicked off. Socks removed. Jeans unbuttoned. There was no denying myself the pleasure of enjoying their hard bodies being revealed.

My gaze pinged between the two. Eryk exposed long, lean muscles like a swimmer as his shirt landed on the floor. Thicker muscles rippled down Cross’s body, but they both had the most mouthwatering set of abdominals and a sexy V-shaped cut to their…

Oh my. I gaped as they pushed their jeans and boxers down. They were both hard, their erections jutting out.

I blinked. Something silver glinted in the light. “You pierced your—” I clamped my mouth shut, staring.

“Dick,” Eryk said. “Yeah. I did.”

I winced, imagining the pain. “Why would you do that to your—”

“You can say it, Petal.”

I shook my head. Cross chuckled.

Eryk wrapped his fingers around his impressive girth. “Come on. Let me hear it. Don’t be shy.”

“Your—” I swallowed. Swiped my tongue over my lips. “Your dick,” I whispered.

“Scoot up,” Cross instructed.

When I did, he slipped into the tub behind me, pulling my body against delectably hard muscles, his manhood finding a home in the lower curve of my spine.

“May I see?” I asked Eryk, enthralled.

“You can see, touch, taste—whatever you want to do,” he said as he strode to the side of the tub. “I’m all yours.”

I untangled myself from Cross’s arms. Pushing up on my knees offered a better view of Eryk’s penis. I studied the wide head. Protruding vertically through the tip was a metal bar with two balls capping off each end.

I glanced up at him. “Didn’t that hurt?”

“Like hell.”

I tentatively reached out with a fingertip and paused.

“Go on.” He gripped himself again, angling the head to me in offering.

I touched the metal ball on top. “Why would you do such a thing?”

“When I’m pumping in and out of your sweet pussy, you’ll know why.”

A title wave of lust slammed into me as I pictured Eryk taking me. The muscles of his body working as he thrust into my snug channel, stretching me to my limits. I rubbed my lips together. What would cool steel and hot flesh feel like inside of me?

“You good?” Eryk asked interrupting my dirty thoughts. “Or do you need to study my Apa a little more?”

“Apa?”

“This type of piercing is an Apadravya, or Apa for short.”

Cross snaked his arm around my waist once more. “Let Eryk join us.”

“Sorry,” I said, staring again at Eryk’s piercing. “I didn’t mean to be so flabbergasted.”

Cross slid me between his bent legs—his knees popping out of the water on either side of me.

“No need to apologize,” Eryk said, getting in the tub, facing Cross and I.

“I’m sure you’ve figured out I don’t have much experience with, well—things.” I hesitated a moment then blurted out only a partial thought. “I’ve lived in a fishbowl—”

Eryk’s brows pulled together. “Fishbowl?”

“You know, contained, while at the same time transparent—where everything I do and say is scrutinized by my father and his staff, as well as the media.”

“Ah,” Eryk muttered. “Gotcha.”

“We understand being in the spotlight of the media,” Cross said. “We deal with it, too.”

Mm, but imagine not being free to be yourself while in that spotlight.” I paused a moment, trying to find the right way to explain. “The crazy thing is,” I said, “even with all the press

butting into my life, it has also been a sheltered one. Until you guys, I’d only been with one man, one time. And he didn’t even come close to making me feel what you have.”

“The guy who asked you to marry him?” Eryk asked.

I nodded. “Pierce.”

Eryk scowled. “This Pierce dude took your virginity, but didn’t make you come.”

Guilt niggled its way back into my system. I needed to tell Pierce I wasn’t going to be his wife.

“I didn’t know what I was doing,” I said. “And he wasn’t interested in taking things slow enough to teach me.”

“Angel,” Cross’s hands traced along the bell of my hips, “any guy who doesn’t want to touch every part of this slamming hot body and watch you get off is a complete douchebag loser.”

“Got that fuckin’ right,” Eryk said. “Give me your foot, beautiful girl.”

I lifted my foot out of the water, suds slipping down the front of my leg. Eryk took hold, and kissed my big toe.

I giggled, until he started massaging.

Oh,” I moaned, head falling back onto Cross’s chest as Eryk worked his thumbs into the ball of my foot.

“That’s it.” Cross’s hands slicked up my ribcage, then over my breasts, narrowing everything in my world down to their attentive hands. “Just relax and enjoy. We’ll take good care of you.”

Eryk’s strong fingers wrapped around my ankle bone, manacling me as he lifted my foot to his mouth and kissed each pearlescent-painted toe. Then, he sucked on my pinky, twirling his sinful tongue around the digit, sucking on the tip.

Wow. The man was good with his mouth and his hands.

His lips slipped over the entire toe as he sucked with a slow, easy rhythm, keeping that steel-gray gaze of his on me. Fire streaked up from my foot and burned between my legs. “Eryk,” I panted.

Cross’s palms slicked down my torso, finger inching over my mound and finally gliding between my feminine folds. I thought I would lose my mind at the pleasure assaulting me.

A needy sound escaped my tremulous lips.

I was of two minds. I wanted to just lie there, enjoy, and ultimately find release, but I also wanted to make them feel good.

I grabbed Cross’s wrist, stilling his fingers. “Wait.”

“Why?” he asked, his breath tickling my ear.

Eryk stopped what he was doing, his gaze pinned on me.

Boldness, Sara. “I want to make you guys feel as good as you make me feel.”

Eryk glanced over my shoulder. I knew he and Cross were doing their silent form of communication, something I’d witnessed before.

“What do you have in mind, Angel?”

“I want to—” My lower lip weaseled its way between my teeth.

“To?” he pressed.

Blurt it out before you lose your nerve. “I want to make you both climax.”

“Come,” Cross said into my ear, making my nipples pull tighter. “You want to make us come.”

“Yes.”

“How?” Eryk asked.

I licked my lips, and then went for it. “With my mouth.”

A smile formed on his face, but it was Cross who said, “You want to suck our cocks.”

He didn’t speak his words as a question, but I nodded anyway.

Excerpt:

Colton took the few steps it required to cross the space, put his drink on the table behind me, and took the camera from around my neck. He placed it on the plush banquette tucked around the table. “I’ve been thinking about this all day,” he said.

“You’ve been thinking about removing my camera?”

“No.” He dipped his head, and brushed his lips across mine in a whisper-soft touch. A burn started and seemed to smolder between my legs. “I’ve been thinking about tasting your lips.”

Unable to stop myself, I dropped my unopened can. It made a dull thud when it hit the floor beside me. I stood up on my tiptoes, wrapped my arms around his strong neck, and pressed my lips to his.

His large hand rested between my shoulder blades and the other on my lower back. I actually hated the shirt I had on. Even though it was lightweight, the barrier of the material kept me from feeling his flesh on mine. My thoughts quickly changed back to his tongue as it traced along the curve of my upper lip. He nibbled at me. His hand slipped up to the back of my moist neck. He twined his fingers into my curls and tugged gently at the base of my hair, pulling my head back. He kissed my jaw. My exposed throat. Nuzzled his nose in the hollow there.

“You taste salty sweet,” he said in a voice that tantalized.

Feeling lightheaded, I moaned when he did a combination of open mouth caresses and teeth-nibbles on my skin. But, when he swept his lips up to my ear and drew the fleshy lobe into his mouth, I wanted to crumple.

“That feels so good,” I said. I shuddered in his arms.

“You’re beautiful, Lex.”

His warm breath gusting across my hot flesh and his words were enough to make chills ripple down my spine.

I slid my hands along the back of his shirt, feeling the muscles I had to see. I tugged at the bottom, lifting. “Take this off,” I said in a breathless pant, throwing any pretense of caution to the wind.

Colton brought his head up from my neck. Without hesitation, he ripped the T-shirt from over his head and dropped it. Tanned skin, immense biceps, large pectorals with small, pebbled, copper-colored nipples, and a slab of abdominal muscles greeted me.

I reached for him and fingered the ripples on his stomach before I kissed his flesh, peppering his chest with hot kisses. When I flicked his nipple with my tongue, the muscles beneath my hand and mouth jumped. I lightly bit. He groaned and moved the hair from my face. I glanced up at him from beneath my lashes. He was looking at me with an intensity that shook me for a moment, but I didn’t have time to dwell upon the emotion because he picked me up and sat my backside down on the table. My legs dangled over the edge. My flip-flops took a nosedive.

“Are you sure you want this?” Colton asked.

“What if I said I never wanted anything more?”

He unbuttoned my shirt and folded back the cotton fabric. “What if I said, I know.” It wasn’t a question.
