Two New Releases – Smut in the City and I Kissed a Girl

Smut in the CityIt’s an exciting day for me – as two new releases have hit the shelves! Smut in the City, the erotic anthology I co-edited with Victoria Blisse is now available in eBook format (coming soon as a paperback)!

Sultry, smouldering sex in the city is the theme of this erotic anthology, edited by Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

From the stifling heat of the London Underground to the crumbling walls of Rome’s Colosseum, Smut in the City has it all. Whatever your interpretation of sultry urban sex, there’s something nestling between the covers for you. Lusty couples, horny office workers, hunky bakers and gardeners, tourists and the Mafia are portrayed for your titillation in this exciting collection of stories from erotica’s finest authors.

The line-up for this anthology is seriously impressive, and I had great fun working on this project with Victoria. Also, if you’re in the London area, or can get there, you should come to the launch next month. We’d love to have you there!

I Kissed a GirlMy second release today is I Kissed a Girl, from Black Lace, which is a super hot lesbian anthology, which contains two of my stories.

Everyone’s heard the Katy Perry song but have you ever been tempted…?

An anthology of hot erotic short stories featuring women drawn to experiment with their own sex.

This diverse collection travels the globe proving that women from every walk of life and culture are curious and eager to explore their full sexuality…with each other.

Contributors include: C. Margery Kempe, Louisa Bacio, Inara Lavey, Samantha Jones, K. Ann Karlsson, Kilt Kilpatrick, Nola Erus, Farrah J. Phoenix, Jen Bluekissed, L.A. Mistral, Lucy Felthouse, Regina Perry.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to dance around the room like a crazy person! 😉

Want Some Smut and Magic?

Of course you do! And I’m happy to say that myself and my good buddies Victoria Blisse and K D Grace are going to give it to you. The smut and magic, that is.

We’re having a joint book launch at the wonderful Sh! Women’s Store in Hoxton, on the 27th October. The title of the event is a reference to the books we’re launching (and the fact it’s almost Halloween!).

Smut in the CityMyself and Victoria are launching the anthology we edited together, Smut in the City – hence “smut.” And K D Grace is launching her new paranormal erotic novel, Lakeland Heatwave: Riding the Ether – which is the “magic” part.

It’s going to start at 6.30, tickets are FREE and there will be readings of smut, champagne, cupcakes, biscuits, etc available to delight your taste buds. And the three of us (along with the super Sh! Girlz) are putting our heads together to come up with some awesome prizes to give away as a thank you for attending the event.

So, if you want to attend, just let the Sh! Girlz know by dropping them a line at shop@sh-womenstore.com, so they know how many people are coming. Don’t forget to tell all your friends – it’s going to be a fabulous night, and we’d love to see you there!

Gone Wandering…

If you’re wondering why my Twitter feed has fallen silent (except for scheduled Tweets), or why there are fewer hot guys being repinned on Pinterest, this is why. I am in Rome – or at least I will be. I have a busy weekend, which includes a friend’s wedding, seeing family and packing my case, and then I’m going wandering. Rest assured I will be taking a ton of photographs and hopefully soaking up some inspiration for my writing – I’m thinking my Smut in the Citystory may well be set here. Please come back here, though, as I have three lovely ladies appearing on the blog this week (providing WordPress doesn’t miss any scheduled posts). Sophie Pembroke, JoAnne Kenrick and Angela S. Stone will be here to tell you all about their new releases – so don’t miss it!

See you when I’m back 🙂

P.S. Naturally, if I can find free WiFi that works, I’ll sneak onto Twitter on my phone and see what’s going on. Otherwise it’ll be radio silence. Eep.

London Hi-Jinks

I just spent a weekend in London, with an extension to go to the London Book Fair yesterday. Sightseeing stuff included a visit to Churchill’s War Rooms and Museum, a mooch around Fortnum & Mason, peering at The Ritz, visiting (and purchasing from) Choccywoccydoodah, a wander through Soho and Chinatown, and of course popping into a couple of book shops.

London Book Fair stuff included meeting up with lovely ladies Jenna Bright and Kitti Bernetti and checking out our gorgeous new books on the Xcite Books stand before heading off to chat and explore the rest of the enormous venue.

The Secret LibraryThe Secret Library - Silk StockingsLucy & The Secret Library

It was a fab day, with lots of chat, including The Secret Library (of course!), Smut by the Sea (the anthology and event), Smut in the City, The Book Show and much more. I also came home with a ton of books from the ladies at Ellora’s Cave, and some from Harlequin, too!

I also managed to scare a bloke on a stand when he asked what I wrote. He tried to appear unruffled when I answered, but admitted it was the best answer to that question that he’d had all day! 😉

I’m still awaiting my author copies of Silk Stockings, but the book is available (or coming very soon) to stockists, so check out the links here.

Evil Plans and Stuff…

Evil Plans and StuffYou like my notebook? Me too… it was a gift from the lovely Kay Jaybee and when I was thinking about writing this blog post, I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of it to include. It seemed fitting, somehow 😉

So, I’ve been mega busy just lately with various projects on the Writer Marketing Services side of things, and have also been squeezing in some serious writing time, too. As a result, I haven’t posted an update on here for a while, so I thought I would let you in on a few exciting bits of news…

Firstly, I just finished (literally, this evening) the first draft of a long short story (hey, almost 12k is long for me) which will be the start of a series, if it’s accepted. I’m aiming it at a particular publisher, who I won’t name just in case I jinx it! But rest assured, you will have more information as and when there’s anything to tell. It’s called A Taste of London, and I think the title gives you a fair hint as to what it might be about. Want to know more? Check out the Pinterest board I created for it.

Secondly, there’s lots of news concerning uniforms! Mmm, my favourite! Anyway, I found out recently that Uniform Behaviour is going to be available in paperback from the end of August, woohoo! I’m told it will be available worldwide, but at the moment, there’s only a pre-order link up on Amazon UK, so feel free to place your order, or if you’re feeling like giving the book some “like” and tag love, I’ll be forever grateful.

Another piece of uniform-related news – I just had an email from Kristina Wright to say that my short erotic romance story, Passing Out Passion was accepted for her upcoming Duty & Desire: Military Erotic Romance anthology, which will be coming out in the autumn. Hurrah! 😀

Finally, I just wanted to post a quick reminder about the two anthologies I’m co-editing with Victoria Blisse. We’re still seeking submissions for Smut by the Sea (closing date 1st June) and Smut in the City (closing date 1st August). We’re hoping to launch the books (they’ll be available in print, too) at The Book Show in Luton in September. Check out the website for more details. It sounds like it’s going to be a fantastic event!
