Naughty Stories from A to Z – Alison Tyler (ed.)

Not yet available in the UK, Naughty Stories from A to Z is published by Pretty Things Press. The front cover is very pink and girly looking, and yet, lurking in the corner is a flash proclaiming that the title is “Banned in Texas.” I was immediately intrigued. As you would expect from a book of this title, there’s a story corresponding to every letter of the alphabet, each by a different author. So you’re bound to find something you like.

One thing I’ve noticed after reading more books and stories written by Americans, is the difference in their themes. It appears that American authors tend to write about homosexuality more. It could just be coincidence, but it does seem there are more same-sex stories in this collection than many of the British ones I’ve read. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing as a good sex scene turns me on, regardless of the gender of people taking part in it! I’m merely making an observation, and one that may prove useful to readers wishing to avoid homosexual scenes.

There’s an enormous amount of variety in this book – it’s fantastic. Some of the stories are fairly vanilla and more about mental sex and attraction than the real thing, whereas others are out and out naughty. I think most people will find something in here that relates pretty closely to their own personal fantasies – simply because there are so many! I read several which made my toes curl in a special way because they were very similar to things I’ve thought about myself… for example there’s a story about getting it on with a hot surfer dude with tattoos… yummy.

Overall, I have no negative comments to make about this book except the fact it’s not available via Amazon in the UK as yet, only Amazon.com, but perhaps this will change in the future. This is definitely a book for dipping in and out of when you fancy a quick fix – or if you’ve got a few hours to spare you could read it from cover to cover, giving yourself a true erotica-fest. Enjoy.
