Autumn’s Harvest Blog Hop

Autumn's Harvest Blog HopFall… or Autumn as it’s called over here in the UK is a season I both love and hate. I love the colours of the leaves, the beautiful sunny days and the crisp fresh air. But, living in England means that we also get lots of horrendous rainy and cold days. Plus, I dislike short days. In terms of sunlight, that is. At the moment, I’m having to turn my office light on at around 4pm due to it getting dark, and it’s only going to get darker. Dark mornings suck, too! I’m not a morning person, and it not being light outside makes it even more difficult for me to get up.

Having said all that, there’s a bonus to the dark and the cold. It makes me write more. I’m not longing to go outside and go hiking or something, so I tend to knuckle down and get some words on the page. Failing that, I’ll cozy up with a book. And I love reading and writing, so it’s definitely not all bad! 😉

I’m going to share the information from my latest release, then get onto the prizes and how/what you can win! Good luck!

Raising the BarWhen Kayleigh takes a gap year before starting University, she decides she’s going to stay away from guys and just concentrate on having fun and experiencing life. That means going through a lot of batteries, but she’s happy and satisfied.

That is, until she gets to Spain on her travels and meets her new co-worker, Luciano. The scorching hot Spaniard soon has Kayleigh’s knickers in a twist— literally—and the time they spend together seriously raises the bar for her sex life. How will any other man ever compare?

I love the fall season in the south (U.S.). The trees are absolutely beautiful. However it does mean shorter days although it isn’t usually rainy. Your newest book looks great. I haven’t read anything from you before but the excerpt sounds very good. Look forward to reading it. Thanks

The only thing I like about fall is the changing of the leaves. not a fan of the cold weather and getting dark early.

I agree with you regarding the fact that lights need to be turned on sooner now. Here in Oregon, this season usually means rain and cold. Not a good combo, so I tend to stay inside as much as possible, reading of course when the family allows it. lol
    Thanks so much

Fall in Texas is not very colorful. I miss that about Virginia where I used to live. The colors really popped and it was a scenic wonder. Here, you get a break from the 100 degree heat and a few less mosquitoes.

Looking forward to reading your newest book. I always love your stories!

While I agree with you on short days (nothing’s worse than going to work and coming home in the dark!), I actually like the occasional dark fall day, at least when there’s nothing i have to do. It’s nice and cozy to settle in with a good book and a mug of something warm, and not feel guilty about not going outside.

I grew up near Vancouver, and autumn was always a monsoon season for us – rainy and windy. I live on the East Coast US now, and autumns are so much prettier. I love autumn for the cooler temps, being able to wear a sweater again, and hot apple cider donuts!

My favorite part about autumn is that the cool weather gives me the perfect excuse to keep my oven full of yummy deliciousness that I really can’t do during two of the three other seasons. I love the feeling of being able to have yummy stuff baking while I nestle in with a good read.

I really love autumn – the leaves changing their colour and the fact that winter`s coming. I`m obviously a fan of dark, cold and harsh weather (lol) cause that`s how it gets here in northern Europe.
    Thanks! 🙂

Autumn is like a cool, smooch on the cheek from Mother Nature, with a promise that spring will come again. It allows you express a gentle goodbye to summer. Autumn is riotous collage of red, orange and golden leaves floating, blowing, crunching everywhere in a kaleidoscope of intense of color. It’s the scent of nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon in the air. Pumpkin bread. Succulent turkey. The taste of tangy crimson cranberry sauce.

Autumn is the time to curl up with a good “who done it” book. Or maybe with a tender romance, or a powerful supernatural with the hard chiseled Vampire lead, I love all genres. It’s moving from the porch swing or from the window seat, relocating to my just “Febrezed” antiquated recliner that creaks and groans like my knees and back every time I sit in it. Fall is the lazy season of life.

I want to thank all those who made the Autumn Harvest Blog Hop a success and also for the opportunity to discover new authors. Thank you!
