Hump Day Hook No. 25 #HDH

humpdayhookHi everyone and welcome to Hump Day Hook, which is basically where authors post a paragraph from a WIP or a published work to show it off to the world. This week, I’m sharing another snippet from Grand Slam, my brand new BDSM erotic romance novel, co-authored with Lily Harlem.

“Come in. Take a seat.” I gestured to the couch and made a point of not letting my attention slide over his body. I didn’t need to look at soft blue jeans worn in all the right places or at his black polo top with a Nike logo just over his right nipple to imagine what was beneath them. I took a deep breath to stop myself doing just that. His physical attributes weren’t my concern, it was his mind I was after.

He shut the door and sat sideways on the low S curve of the black leather recliner, his long legs folding over and his knees coming up high.

“Please,” I said. “Lie back, make yourself comfortable.” I took a seat on a soft chair just to his left and crossed my legs.

Saturday Spankings #13 – #SatSpanks

This is basically a hop where authors post eight-ish sentences from a spanking book and link back to the other authors taking part. So, here goes, here’s my spanking snippet, which is from Grand Slam, a novel I co-authored with Lily Harlem, which is out now:

I was just about to lift my hand and land the first blow when I remembered something. I leaned down to one side to murmur into her ear, “Hey, Marie. You may want to scream and shout and tell me to stop. But you might not really mean it, and I may not know the difference. So if you really and truly want me to stop, then you have to use your safe word. It can be ‘shower’, okay?”

She nodded and I wondered if she realized the significance of the word I’d chosen. It was the place where we’d first seen each other. She might already be too in the moment to get it and I wasn’t going to ruin that now by mentioning it.

I’m just swinging by quickly to show off the cover art for A Taste of Rome, coming soon from Ellora’s Cave. I don’t know when, exactly, as I’ve not long signed the contract, so it could be the end of this year or early next year. Let’s hope for earlier 🙂

I turned to the door. I always kept it ajar when expecting a client, to give the impression that I was open to whatever they needed to talk about. It was a subliminal thing.

Travis stood in the frame, his wide shoulders filling the space, the top of his head almost brushing the wood and his jawline holding a heavy sprinkle of black stubble.

Fuck, he should come with a warning. Hazard to the health of every female heart. He looked good enough to eat, or lick all over at the very least. Tasty.

“Knock, knock,” he said, slipping his gaze down my body.

As I’m sure you lovely folk already know, I’ve had a few new releases just lately, which has had me dancing around excitedly rather a lot. Well,  just to add to my awesome exercise programme, all three of my new releases have had fantastic reviews. Here goes…

The tiny black G-string bisected her beautifully rounded globes and flashed plenty of pale flesh, all the way down to the tops of her hold-up stockings. I placed my right hand on her bum, smirking as she flinched, then stroked each and every millimeter of skin between her so-called underwear and her sexy hosiery, giving her caresses, gentle and adoring—the opposite of what she’d expected.

I loved the feel of her weight on me too. It was slight but solid, her belly pressing into my leg. It reminded me that she was here. Plus the sacrificial pose, bared and vulnerable.
