New Release: The Persecution of the Wolves #PNR #LPRTG #SSRTG #ASMSG

Hi folks,

I’m very excited to announce that I have a (re)release out today! The Persecution of the Wolves (which was previously published as Pack of Lies, and the content remains the same) now has a new title, a new publisher and a gorgeous new cover:

Werewolf brothers Matthew and Isaac have lived in the peaceful village of Eyam, Derbyshire all their lives. The villagers know what happens every full moon, and have their reasons for keeping quiet. But this secrecy comes at a cost—the brothers can’t risk romantic entanglements.

Then, at the full moon, a sheep is slaughtered on Eyam Moor, by what could only be a large animal. Even the brothers’ staunchest supporters begin to have their doubts about who—or what—could have done it.

As the brothers fight to clear their names, things are complicated by unexpected opportunities to indulge their lust. Isaac is intrigued by a handsome newcomer to the village, and a vivacious visitor is happy to offer Matthew her all.

Can the men prove their innocence, or is their centuries-old secret about to be revealed to the outside world, bringing their carefully-crafted existence crashing down around their ears?

I hope you’ll consider checking it out – this book was a real labour of love for me, and I still adore it and hope it gains lots of new readers at its new home with Evernight Publishing.

Happy Reading,

2013 Round Up!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to fun New Year celebrations. While I am looking forward to 2014 and what it will bring, I’d also like to reflect on 2013 and what I achieved. I don’t often blow my own trumpet, so it’s cool to remind myself of what I’ve done. Here are a few highlights, in no particular order:

My total publication count was 30, which includes print and eBooks. This is the same total as last year, but I’m definitely not beating myself up over that, because I’ve had much longer stuff released and have been working on more novellas and novels. I also don’t count reprints.

I also totted up my word count. This includes works not yet finished or submitted, as well as published works, and I achieved a whopping 377,041 words this year. I’m very proud of that, especially since I don’t write full-time, and I don’t even write every day.

Here’s a photo of the paperbacks I’ve been in this year – click the image to enlarge.

All in all, it’s been an awesome 2013! I already have books lined up for 2014 so it’s already off to a promising start. I’m looking forward to it.

Happy New Year!

A Quick Update

Hi everyone,

nanoJust swinging by with a quick update. I know I’ve been quiet over the past few days, but I’ve had good reason! I’m taking part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) which is basically where you have to write 50,000 words in a month. I’m having to squeeze that into weekdays, as I don’t work or write at weekends. Hence the quietness 😀

I’m doing well so far, though, being slightly over target of writing 2.5k a day. My WIP is called The Persecution of the Wolves and is an paranormal erotic romance thriller – so something a little bit different for me. At this stage, I’m hopeful I’ll complete the challenge of 50k this month, and after that I’m hoping to finish the entire book by the end of the year. Then, if all goes well I’ll have it edited and beta-read by the end of January and ready to go to a publisher. That’s in an ideal world, of course, as I have to juggle my writing around my business, Writer Marketing Services.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know why I’m so quiet just now. I have some new releases and fabulous guest bloggers coming up, though, so it won’t be quiet here for long.

If you want to check out my progress or “buddy” me on the NaNoWriMo site, I’m here. Also you see my progress in the widget on the right hand side of the page, at the top.

In the meantime, happy reading!
