The Perfect Submissive Box Set by Kay Jaybee (@kay_jaybee)

Readers, hold on… it’s a crazy ride. If you like your erotica dark and dirty, then this is the book for you.” –The Romance Reviews

The Fifth Floor

Hidden on the fifth floor of the Fables Hotel’s respectable facade, five specially adapted rooms wait; ready to cater for the kinky requirements of its select guests.

When Mrs Peters, the mistress of the hotel’s exclusive entertainment facility, meets the new booking clerk, Jess Sanders, she recognises the young woman’s potential as a deliciously meek addition to her specialist staff. All it will take is a little education.

Under the tutelage of the dominatrix, Miss Sarah, Jess learns to cope with her unexpected training schedule, the increasingly erotic chill she experiences each time she survives a new level of correction, and a truly sexy exercise routine…

It was one of the better ones [BDSM novels] that I have read… overall, The Perfect Submissive is a great read. The plot is excellent and it leaves you wondering what is going to happen next?” – Sizzling Hot Books

The Retreat

No sooner has Jess Sanders embraced her role as submissive, when Mrs Peters, informs her that she and Miss Sarah have been loaned to The Retreat; an adult establishment in the remote glens of Scotland. Suddenly, Jess finds herself caught in a mind-bendingly erotic fairytale experience at the hands of the unyielding David Proctor, and his staff.

Desperate to return to her submissive life on the fifth floor, Jess finds herself trapped. David Proctor wants to keep her for himself…

“…The characters are fascinating with a depth that you don’t get often. They each have various facets to their personalities that make them unique and realistic. They are compelling and one moment you will love them and the next moment hate the same character.  This is true throughout both books as we are introduced to new characters in The Retreat…Kay Jaybee does a great job of involving us in the plight of various characters  especially the  main character, Jess…”  Illustrious Illusions.

Knowing Her Place

Desperate to see Mrs Peters, Miss Sarah, and the Fables Hotel again, Jess discovers she can win her freedom is she agrees to go on a specialised quest.

With a list of five unknown addresses in her hand, the submissive is driven from The Retreat in Scotland towards England.

With no idea of what or who awaits her at each stop, all Miss Jess Sanders can do is hope that her journey will eventually take her back to the fifth floor, where she truly knows her place…

“If you like your BDSM dark and full of tension, then this is the book for you. Overall, a fab read. Absorbing from beginning to end with lots of delicious twists and turns, it left me wondering when the sequel is coming out!” – Erotica For All

Sequel-ing – A Guest Post by Kay Jaybee (@kay_jaybee)

Sequel-ing – The Retreat (The Perfect Submissive Trilogy- Part Two)

A huge thank you to Lucy for inviting me to her brilliant blog today, to talk about my recently re-released novel The Retreat– (Part Two of The Perfect Submissive Trilogy.)

To be honest, even though many years have passed since I first put finger to keyboard, and wrote The Retreat, I’m still in something of a state of shock that I ever created it. I never dreamt I’d ever be asked to write a follow up story to any of my books, let alone be requested to pen a trilogy!!

The feeling of joy I felt when I realised that I wasn’t the only one who loved the adventures Miss Jess Sanders experienced in The Fifth Floor (previously known as The Perfect Submissive) was something I’ll never forget.

In the first book of the trilogy, The Fifth Floor, Jess arrives on the page as a naive young woman with a future awaiting her that she could never have previously imagined- a future as a professional submissive working in the Fables Hotel, Oxfordshire.

When we rejoin Jess in The Retreat, her submissive status has been established, and she has just begun to accept her new role in life when…

Blurb-

Just as Jess Sanders is adjusting to her new life as the submissive in residence on the fifth floor of The Fables Hotel, her employer, Mrs Peters, makes a startling announcement. She has agreed to loan Jess, and her dominatrix Miss Sarah, to one of their most demanding clients; Mr David Proctor.

Whisked away by the mysterious Kane to The Retreat, a house hidden in a remote part of Scotland, Jess and Miss Sarah find themselves teaching a new submissive how to meet Proctor’s exacting rules.

As Jess comes to terms with the techniques of The Retreat’s overpowering dominatrix, Lady Tia, she discovers that Proctor’s motives may not be all they seem. Just who or what is Fairtasia? And why does Jess feel like she’s walked into a warped fairy tale?

In order to get back to the fifth floor, Jess is going to have to be far more than just a perfect submissive…

Taken away from Fables by David Proctor, Jess and her mistress, Miss Sarah, soon find themselves in a strange mixed up fairytale. They have been told they are heading to Scotland to help train a young woman called Alisha to be a submissive for The Retreat – but as they’re journey begins, it soon becomes clear that there is much more going on beneath the surface…and Proctor has another agenda altogether.

Here’s an extract to whet your appetite- Jess and Miss Sarah are on a private plane, travelling from London to Aberdeen.

… Alisha, who held a Red Riding Hood-style wicker basket, curtseyed towards her employer, proffering it in his direction. As he swished back the chequered tablecloth that had been laid across its top, the broad smile that crossed Proctor’s face plunged Jess’s heart to her feet.

The brown bodice of her dress squeezed Jess’s chest up and out, so that her cleavage was displayed to its best advantage. Her nipples were only just hidden by the keenness of its elasticated top, which was so tight she could already feel its pattern imprinting on her skin. The skirt, on the other hand, which was cut into strips of wispy netting, only just covered her backside. If Cinderella had worn an outfit like this when she was cleaning, then with every stretch and bend to dust or sweep she would have shown off her arse to perfection.

Miss Sarah, positively regal in her ankle-length, puff-skirted dress, also had her breasts compressed to the point of popping out from its faux satin material. The thunderous expression on her face, however, was far from the serene visage normally associated with fairy tale princesses.

‘Alisha, I think you could learn a great deal from these women.’ David took the basket from her hands and extracted a strip of red ribbon. ‘Use this to secure Miss Sanders’ wrists. She will put them together for you without argument.’

Mindful of Mrs Peters’ final instruction – Do Fables and yourself proud – Jess obediently placed her palms together in front of her waist, and watched Alisha wrap the wide ribbon around her wrists with rather more expertise than expected. Not her first time at doing this, then …

‘Miss Sarah, to me, please.’

The dominatrix, every inch of her displaying a haughty indifference to the men watching, moved to Proctor’s side.

Rummaging in the basket, purely for effect Jess thought, David produced what he’d been searching for, and held it up like a trophy. ‘Miss Sarah, I’d like you to teach Alisha how to use this to bring your submissive to the point of ecstasy, but slowly. Make it last. Make her wait.’

Jess, her blood pumping with the speed of a delayed train trying to make up time, felt her throat close on itself as her superior lifted a heavily frosted cupcake from Proctor’s palm. Of course, what else would Red Riding Hood have in her basket?

‘Kane, I know they didn’t impress you before, but this will be good.’

Jess didn’t know whether to be flattered or bemused by Proctor’s faith in her. No one had ever tried to stimulate her with confectionery before, and she wished her brain hadn’t already filled itself with visions of Miss Sarah rubbing the icing star that was stuck in the top of the cake over her breasts in a steady, rotating motion.

Obviously wanting to get this charade over with as soon as possible, Miss Sarah took charge. ‘Alisha, if you’d step this way, I will talk you through what I do, as I do it.’

In a tone that brooked no argument from anyone, Miss Sarah went on. ‘Turn around, Miss Sanders. Lift your tethered hands and hold onto the back of the chair before you.’

Jess had been so sure that it would be her chest that would be the focus of the cake’s attention that the order to turn sent a flare of disappointment rippling through her breasts as they were pressed against the back of the leather chair.

‘Alisha, I require your assistance as well as your complete attention for this lesson. As you can see, Miss Sanders’ skirt is cut into many lengths, so just lifting it up in one piece is not an option. Use one of your hands to hold all the strips of netting out of the way.’

As Alisha’s fingers gently gathered up all the stray pieces of skirt, Jess felt the heady frisson of unfamiliar digits holding the fabric in the small of her back, and four sets of eyes levelling themselves on her posterior.

‘Thank you, Alisha. Now, observe.’ Miss Sarah contained her smile as Jess’s backside quivered a fraction at the first touch of the stiff, sharp-edged, icing star. Trailing it in a misshapen figure of eight from one buttock to the other, using the anus as the cross-over point, Miss Sarah noted how each pass forced Jess to focus harder on not fidgeting her feet.

‘If you look closely, Alisha, you will see different points on the arse produce different reactions from our submissive, as does the amount of pressure applied and the manner in which we hold the cake.’

Miss Sarah swivelled the cake around in her fingers, so she was now holding its top and pushing the sponge base against Jess’s butt. ‘I suspect, however, that I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know.’

Not giving Alisha the chance to reply herself, David interjected sharply, his brusque tone betraying his own arousal. ‘This is all very new to Alisha, if you would continue.’

Filing his overreaction away to be considered later, Miss Sarah kept her attention on the younger woman. ‘Now that I have flipped the cake around, if I press it while keeping it moving, the crumbs will leave a trail across her flesh. Get the amount of pressure correct and the cake won’t be destroyed.

‘You will also notice, if you get in close, that despite being extremely horny, Miss Sanders isn’t moving or making a sound. She has, after all, been very well trained. She is diverting her feelings away from the climax she craves by the clenching of her toes, and the digging of her fingernails into the chair against which she is leaning. Do you see?…’

I hope you enjoyed that mini snippet. A hint of fairytale before Jess’s life becomes really complicated, and the fairytales take on a far darker tone.

An Interview with Kay Jaybee

I’ve put together some fun interview questions for the site, and have asked my fellow Brit Babes to complete them. Here’s the first interviewee – the fabulous Kay Jaybee. Take it away, Kay…

Kay Jaybee1. Tell us about yourself. Both your writing self and your non-writing self. What are your interests and hobbies? Do you have a day job, etc?

Hello! Well, I’m Kay Jaybee- and I’m also Jenny Kane- and sometimes- when I have time- I’m me!!

Kay is 5ft 5, wears short skirts, boots and is rather flirty.

Jenny is 5ft 5, wears jeans and is rather shy.

I am 5ft 5- I wear short skirts sometimes- but only with tights so think they could repel lasers, but mostly I’m a jeans and trainers girl.
Once my family are off to work and school, I start my days with a trip to my local coffee shop, where I write for 2 hours. After that I head home, where I work over the Internet as an admin assistant for a distance learning company for a further 2 hours. Then, it’s back to the coffee shop again to write some more!

Once upon a time I had a hobby I loved- it was writing- then one day, without me even noticing, my hobby was my job!! I live, breathe, sleep and dream writing!!

On the very rare occasions when I’m not writing, I love to walk. I’m very lucky to live near a great number of wonderful walking places, and just adore exploring new woods and moors. I also LOVE history. Many years ago I was an archaeologist, and a medieval history tutor, and I still get overexcited about being able to clamber over castles, roman villas, and other ancient sites!!

2. Give us the background on your latest release.

My latest release, The Retreat (out in Oct 2013), is the sequel to my BDSM novel, The Perfect Submissive.

This was a book I never thought I’d write! Originally The Perfect Submissive was intended to be a standalone story. However, much to my delight, it was so popular, that Xcite asked me to extend the story of Miss Jess Sanders, not just with a sequel, but with a trilogy!
After my initial joy, I then began to panic- what would I write? I wasn’t sure what challenges I’d make Jess face! It wasn’t a case of having no ideas- but of having way too many!

It was a conversation with my friend Debs that set the plot for The Retreat going. The second Debs suggested sending Jess away to a retreat, cut off from the rest of the world; I knew exactly what I’d make Jess face- and where she’d face it. I lived in Scotland for some years, and as a lover of history, I visited as many of the beautiful castles there. The Retreat is based on a cross between the gorgeous castles, Crathes, Drum and Fraser.

When Debs added that maybe I should include a fairytale theme my mind went into over-drive…

3. How did you get started with writing? And what was your route to publication like?

I started to write erotic by accident- an idea popped into my head 9 years ago while I was sitting in a cafe in Scotland. I just had to write it down, and the only thing to hand was a paper napkin. So, my very first short story saw life as scribbles on a napkin covered in the crumbs from a Mars Bar scone!!

I was very lucky- that first story was taken by Cleis Press. If it hadn’t been, I don’t think I’d have written another one. After that early publication I discovered Oysters and Chocolate – the much missed, and totally brilliant erotica site- for whom I wrote over 20 stories, before going on to publish my first solo book, The Collector (Austin & Macauley).

At the same time as working with Oysters, I also began to write short stories for Xcite, and before I knew it, Quick Kink One was created; soon to be followed by its sister book, Quick Kink Two. Thanks to the success of those early anthologies, I was offered the chance to do a novel- which lead to my bestseller, The Perfect Submissive- since then I’ve never looked back… I keep waiting for it all to go wrong…I never take any publication for granted, and I always keep my fingers crossed!!

4. What are you currently working on?

I am currently working on the third instalment of The Perfect Submissive Trilogy. Entitled Knowing Her Place, we catch up with Miss Jess Sanders fresh from her adventures at The Retreat…I’m going to say no more, as The Retreat has only just been released, and I don’t want to spoil it for you!!!

5. Do you have a particular Muse for your writing? Do any of your characters bear startling resemblances to sexy celebrities or people you admire?

Almost all of my story ideas are triggered my quite mundane things- overheard conversations, objects being left in the wrong place which cause my mind to leap ahead- wondering why certain things are where they shouldn’t be- for example, why has someone left an umbrella in a supermarket freezer…you’d be amazed what my imagination could do with that!!

I have one muse who occasionally inspires me. He isn’t a celeb (I have very little time for them truth be told), but a real person who, although he couldn’t be more different from me, always manages to trip my mind onto the correct track for any story I need to write should the dreaded writers block strike.

6. Where do you see yourself in five years? Both writing-wise and non-writing-wise?

Well, assuming my daughters still want to go to University, I’ll be completely broke as I try to support them! I hope I’ll still be writing some erotica, but my main aim is to expand out of the genre, and have at least 3 more Jenny Kane (my contemporary romance alter ego) novels out there…and maybe a play…

And now for some silly questions…

7. Muscled or skinny? Skinny (well- a build between the two if I can be picky!!)

8. Tall or short? Short (although my husband is tall- whoops!

9. Boxers or briefs? Boxers

10. Moustache or beard? Beard (neither for preference)

11. Long hair or shaven head? Shaven hair for a man, long for a woman

12. Tattoos or piercings? Tattoos (neither for preference)

13. Intelligent or funny? Funny (can’t I have both?)

14. Blond, brunette or red head? Red head

15. Hottest celebrity (tell us why, if you like)? Tricky as I don’t really follow the celebrity thing- but someone who has really earned their fame, who also used to tickle my fancy was Ray Winstone as a young man- he was so hot in Robin of Sherwood- and he still has a twinkle in his eye!

16. Top same-sex crush (or opposite sex if you already like same-sex!) Drew Barrymore

17. Most disliked celebrity (tell us why, if you like)- anyone who is famous for being on a reality TV show, but has done nothing else with their lives, is a major turn off for me.

18. Favourite food Chinese- especially the starter platters you get in Chinese restaurants.

19. Favourite book (tell us why, if you like) – This is tricky- I like so many different genres! It would have to be The Rose Revived by Katie Fforde for a light read, The Daughters of Cain by Colin Dexter for a touch of crime, and Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett for cynical brilliance!

20. Favourite place in the world (tell us why, if you like) – I love so many places- but Dartmoor has to be up there – it’s so barren, yet so vibrant, and you can walk for miles without seeing another living soul. Not only that, but the footprints of our ancient ancestors are invisibly marked all over it- paradise for an ex-archaeologist who likes a leg stretch!

21. Anything else you’d like to add? If you ever meet me, offer me a cup of coffee- I’ll be a friend for life xx

My latest release is The Retreat- Part 2 of The Perfect Submissive Trilogy.

The RetreatBlurb-

Just as Jess is beginning to relax into her new life as a submissive at The Fables Hotel, her employer Mrs Peters announces that she is loaning both Jess, and her dominatrix Miss Sarah, to one of their most demanding clients; Mr David Proctor.

Whisked away by the mysterious Kane to The Retreat, hidden in a remote part of Scotland, Jess and Miss Sarah find themselves teaching another submissive to meet Proctor’s exacting rules.

As Jess comes to terms with the techniques of The Retreat Mistress, and the strictly overpowering dominatrix Lady Tia, she discovers that Proctor’s motives may not be all they seem.

Just who or what is Fairtasia? And why does Jess feel like she’s walked into a warped fairy tale?

In order to get back to The Fables, Jess is going to have to be more than just a perfect submissive…

Extract-

JESS WASN’T SURE exactly what she’d expected to happen once they’d been escorted into the castle. What she had been sure of, however, was that Miss Sarah was would be right. The moment they crossed the threshold into David Proctor’s territory, they’d be subjected to some kind of sexual action that would make their in-flight entertainment look mild.

The submissive had spent the final part of the journey mentally preparing herself for an instant stripping, beating, and group fuck by every member of the staff she was there to meet. She’d contemplated being fastened to some sort of table or chair, so that her naked frame could be examined and teased to the point when her endurance broke; and being the target for every sort of sex toy ever invented. What Jess had not expected was nothing.

When she and Miss Sarah had finally been ordered to approach the castle, they’d stuck close together, walking slowly. As they’d stepped before the main door, someone from within had let out a whistle, and a male-shaped shadow had appeared from the gloom of the night. Steering Jess by the neck, the stranger had taken her inside, while Kane emerged from the door and shoved Miss Sarah in a totally different direction.

Ushered through the large entrance hall, with barely enough time to take in more than the solid, whitewashed walls, and the profusion of bold tartan chairs and sofas, Jess had been vaguely conscious of a group of people standing to one side. They mutely observed her being swiftly manoeuvred past them.

Still held by the back of the neck, she was frogmarched along a narrow corridor by a slim young man Jess hadn’t been able to see clearly in the dark. Whoever he was, he had kept purposely behind her as they strode through the castle, and she hadn’t dared ask him anything as she saw that a spiral staircase of bare stone lay ahead of them.

Two minutes later, they’d reached an open wooden door. With no corridors to either the left or right, there was no other way to go but through, and Jess had suddenly been reminded of Rapunzel, who’d been imprisoned in a room at the top of a tower with nowhere to run.

The guide held her by the shoulders. His unspoken instruction that she should not try to look at him was made clear by the intensity of his grip. With an unexpected burst of speed, the man then took a step down, at the same time urging Jess firmly forward. No sooner had she stepped into the room than the door was snapped shut behind her, and Jess had found herself alone in a circular space which had curtains drawn all the way around it.

Five minutes later, she was still taking slow, deep breaths as she tried to soothe herself. Whatever was happening would be for a reason, and if she knew David Proctor like she thought she did, Jess was sure that somewhere in the room there was probably a camera observing her every move, gauging how she was reacting to this enforced situation.

Standing still, she cast her eyes around the room. If life at Fables had taught her anything, it was that the more detail she took in about her surroundings, and the more attention she paid to every word spoken to her, the more she’d learn, and the better her chances of survival and erotic contentment would be.

‘So, I’m inside the turret, then.’ In the centre of the room, a spindle-backed wooden chair sat next to a matching table. ‘All that’s missing here is a spinning wheel. Forget Rapunzel, this is Sleeping Beauty!’ Jess muttered to herself as she walked around the rug-covered stone floor, skirting the very edges of the room as if she was a tiger patrolling the surrounds of its cage. She ran her hands across the floor to ceiling dark purple velvet curtains. Unsure if she wanted to see or not, she drew them back.

The majority of the room’s walls were constructed of large blocks of bare granite, but as Jess threw open the third curtain, she stepped back in surprise. A wooden door, about four feet high, and two foot across, had been built into the curve of the stone. ‘OK, so maybe this isn’t Sleeping Beauty after all. Maybe it’s Snow White.’

With her heart thumping, Jess placed her hand on the brass doorknob, and bent to see what was through the doorway. ‘Oh thank God!’
It was a washroom. A modern shower cubicle, sink, and toilet were plumbed into the exquisitely tiled carpeted semicircle. Making use of the facilities, Jess wondered if this was to be her room; where she was to spend all her time when she wasn’t doing whatever it was that Proctor expected her to do.

Returning to the larger room, Jess continued to throw back the curtains, wondering if any other cubbyholes were secretly attached to this turret. No more doors appeared but, drawing back the last pair of drapes, Jess jumped as she came face to face with her own bedraggled reflection.

A huge, round mirror stared at her. ‘So maybe this is Snow White! Complete with the scary mirror on the wall and the dwarf-sized door. Which means, I only have the Wicked Queen left to meet.’

As soon as she’d spoken the words she slammed her hand to her mouth, wishing she hadn’t said them out loud. Until that point she’d considered herself to be doing well.
