My Sexy Saturday #104 – I flicked my gaze to Nadia. #MySexySaturday

My Sexy Saturday

Welcome back to My Sexy Saturday! This is where writers post either 7 words, 7 sentences or 7 paragraphs from their published work or work in progress. I’m back from my holiday, but things are pretty chaotic here just now, so I apologise if I don’t get around to visiting the other posts. I’m now sharing from my re-released lesbian sports romance, Sweet Spot.

Sweet SpotNadia Gorlando and I had just gotten off the exercise bikes in the gym when one of the academy’s coaches, Peter Ross, headed over to us, all smiles.

“Hey, Nadia,” he said, his all-American grin widening and his blond hair flopping down over his forehead, “I need a huge favor.”

I flicked my gaze to Nadia. She raised one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows and waited for him to continue. He did.

“I totally lost track of time just now and I have an appointment with Travis Connolly. Would you mind wiping down my machine for me? Or maybe stick a note on it saying it’s out of order? I don’t want to leave it all sweaty for someone else. You’ll be doing me a real solid. I’ll owe you.”

Mid Week Tease: “You’re not going to do it, are you?” #MWTease

MWTease15Hi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! I’m back from my holiday, and things are chaotic here, so I apologise if I don’t get around to visiting the other posts. I’m sharing from my re-release, F/F sports romance, Sweet Spot. It’s available on Amazon, All Romance eBooks and Smashwords, and will hopefully be hitting the other retailers pretty soon.

My jaw almost hit the floor.

Now Nadia rolled her eyes, looked over at the offending machine, then back at Peter. “Sure, I understand,” she said, as cool as ice. “The world’s number one can’t wait. Go right ahead—I’ll fix it for you.”

He babbled a load of thanks, then jogged out of the gym.

I gaped at her. “You’re not going to do it, are you?”

Sweet Spot Re-released! #lesbian #erotica #romance #sports

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that some of my books are being re-released. First up is my F/F erotic sports romance, Sweet Spot, which is part of the Raw Talent series. And don’t you just love the gorgeous new cover?

Here’s the skinny:

Virginia Miller is an up-and-coming tennis star. She’s gone from a ratty tennis court in a park in south London, England, to the world’s top training facility—Los Carlos Tennis Academy in California. In awe of the talent around her, Virginia is all the more determined to make the most of the opportunity and show that she’s worthy of her place there. Her mentor, Nadia Gorlando, has every faith in her.

But Virginia finds herself distracted—Nadia, as well as being a top-notch tennis player, is seriously sexy, and Virginia’s mind keeps wandering where it shouldn’t. Will her crush get in the way of her career, or can she find a way to push the other woman out of her mind before it’s too late?

Please note, it hasn’t changed from the original version, so if you’ve read that, it is essentially the same book, repackaged. It’s currently available from Amazon, All Romance eBooks and Smashwords, and I’m waiting for it to start filtering out to all the other retailers. The links are all available on the book’s page, and will be updated as and when I have more.

It also got this amazing five star review on Smashwords: “I really enjoyed this book, the first one of Lucy’s that I’ve read. It is sweet, engrossing and also hot! I’m looking forward to reading more.”

Happy Reading!

New Release: Summer Love

Hi everyone,

I’m delighted to announce another new release! My story, A Most Spectacular View, came out today as part of Ladylit’s fabulous Summer Love anthology, which is a collection of stories about lesbian holiday romance. My tale is set on the Canary Island of Lanzarote, and I really enjoyed writing it… especially since I got to spend some time reminiscing about the lovely island and looking at photos as I penned the story 🙂

Here’s the blurb:

Sun-soaked beaches, glittering blue pool surfaces and oceans painted by an orange-hued sunset have one thing in common: they’re the perfect background for falling in love. Who hasn’t felt that first wave of butterflies rise deep in their belly while pool side? Or that first quickening of the pulse when lounging on a lush patch of grass during a music festival? Summer is the perfect time to indulge in that sudden rush of first love or, equally so, the warm grip of long-fostered feelings for another woman.

This collection of fourteen stories runs the gamut of lesbian holiday romance stories. An Australian cookery course, a Belfast coffee shop, and even a romance writers’ conference are some of the backdrops for the summer love that unfolds in this lesbian romance anthology. Tamsin Flowers’s Drive Me Crazy takes place during Glastonbury, while Katya Harris’s sensual tale of passion between long-time lovers is entirely set by the side of the pool. Newcomer Brooke Winters brings us an irresistible tale of a woman running into a Mistress she’s played with in Spain, while Lucy Felthouse’s heroine gets much more heat than she bargained for when she goes volcano-watching on Lanzarote.

With stories by highly rated authors, including Annabeth Leong, Allison Wonderland, Erzabet Bishop and Harper Bliss, this collection is the perfect sensual companion to any holiday.

The eBook is available now, and should be coming out in paperback format very soon, too. The links are here.

Happy Reading!

I Kissed a Girl in Vegas by Scarlet Chastain (@ScarletChastain)

ikissedagirlinvegas1lHello Lucy! Thank you for having me over for a visit to share my new release, I Kissed a Girl in Vegas.

Sexy destinations are the perfect backdrop for a romantic story. My last two books, Bella Key and Little Black Dress, were set in Key West and Paris. I loved using the uniqueness of the settings to drive the story forward. For example, Maddie starts her journey to self-discovery at a cute B&B on Bella Key owned by Sunny when she stops for directions. Giselle teaches Jamie to speak French during visits to a sidewalk café in Paris in Little Black Dress.

Las Vegas is the backdrop of the first book in my new series, I Kissed a Girl. It’s the perfect setting for Tessa Walker to fulfill her secret fantasy. Want a peek? Here’s the opening of I Kissed a Girl in Vegas…

I kissed a girl.

My arrow doesn’t point straight like a stick of uncooked spaghetti. Nope. It curves in beautiful shapes and colors, like strokes of paint on an artist’s canvas. Let’s face it, you can’t always choose what turns you on. I know because I’ve tried, damn it.

Take Nathan, for example. He was the textbook perfect catch. Good job, great dresser, polite, and hey, he seemed to like me a lot. My friends were already fighting over the maid of honor position in our wedding because on the surface we were the perfect couple. And we were…except in bed. It wasn’t as though I didn’t give it the old college try, either. Shit, I deserved an Academy Award for the act I put on during sex with Nathan. My moans, fingernail digs, passionate kisses, deep breaths and even a few name screams, were as much for my own benefit as his.

You see, I wanted to love Nathan. I wanted to love sex with Nathan. I wanted to meet my girlfriends for drinks and share my own earth shattering orgasm stories. After all, I’ve heard more of their stories than I care to remember. Sadly, the only breath-catching Os going on in my apartment happened solo when my arrow was free to bend in a different direction, to a fantasy I never dared to share. The fantasy where…well, why don’t I start at the beginning…when I kissed a girl.

For more of Tessa’s fantasy, including a hot under the table restaurant scene, check out I Kissed a Girl in Vegas. There’s kissing in it. xoxo

Blurb:

Tessa Walker’s business trip takes her to one of the poshest hotels on the Vegas Strip. Nursing a break-up, she can use of weekend of fun and sun. Little does she know, her pool cabana mate is none other than famous chef and restaurateur, Gianna Lucini, who introduces her to the world of great food and forbidden passion.

Life as a jet-set chef isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Gianna. Like her restaurants, she insists on control in the bedroom and her tastes run anything but plain vanilla. She’s ready to give up on love until Tessa serves up an offer Gianna can’t turn down.

My Sexy Saturday #31 – My Sexy Howl #MySexySaturday

My Sexy Saturday

Welcome back to My Sexy Saturday. This is where writers post either 7 words, 7 sentences or 7 paragraphs from their published work or work in progress, sticking to the week’s theme. This week’s theme is my sexy howl – so shifters. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share a snippet from one of my older releases – F/F erotic romance, The Cottage in the Woods.

“No.” Heidi knew the next words on her lips should be, “But I do have a very comfortable sofa” but somehow she couldn’t force herself to say them.

“Oh. I guess I’ll just have to bunk in with you then. It’ll be like a girly sleepover! Not that I’ve ever been to one…” she tailed off, dropping her gaze to the floor.

“You haven’t?” Heidi asked, desperate to know what had made this beautiful girl look so sad. “Why not?”

“I could never risk falling asleep near humans. I often wake up in animal form, and that would be pretty difficult to explain. Not everyone’s as understanding as you.” Ava put her hand on the other woman’s arm and gave her a warm smile. Heidi’s heart leapt.

“Well,” Heidi replied, covering Ava’s hand with her own and giving it a squeeze, “whatever you wake up as is fine with me. Except maybe a spider. I won’t be held responsible for my own actions if I wake up with a spider in my bed.”

Both girls laughed. Then, hoping against hope she hadn’t misread the signs, Heidi linked her fingers with Ava’s and stood. “Come on,” she said. Her voice sounded husky. “Let’s get this sleepover show on the road.”

Ava followed without protest; eagerly in fact, and Heidi started to realize this was really going to happen. It was like something out of a fairy tale. She’d been all alone, then a hot girl who happened to be a shapeshifter turned up in her garden. All the signs pointed towards Ava liking her in that way, and now, she was happily going to bed with her. Heidi shook her head in disbelief, then sped up. After all, if it was a dream, she didn’t want to wake up before the good part.
