It’s Blissemas Time, Mistletoe and Wine…

blissemas2014

Hi everyone, and welcome to the fifth day of Blissemas. Actually, despite the title of my blog post, I’m really not bothered about mistletoe (don’t need it to give my OH a kiss!) and I can’t stand wine. Horrible stuff. Vodka or cider are my poisons of choice 😉

Anyway… for those of you that have taken part in previous Blissemas events, you’ll know I’m actually not the biggest fan of this time of year. Winter and cold are really not my thing, and I think retailers and advertisers are ruining Christmas by forcing it to start as soon as Halloween is over and done with. By the time I get to December I’m fed up with it, never mind the 25th! Sorry for being all bah humbug 😉

All I really want this Christmas (you know, apart from a lottery jackpot win or Jeremy Renner naked except for a bow) is some time off work and some rest and relaxation. It’s been a really tough few months for me and my family, so I’m looking forward to chilling out and eating lots of naughty food. And probably watching crap telly.

Now, just to attempt to prove I’m not a complete and utter Scrooge, here’s a super sexy excerpt from my festive erotic romance tale, Reindeer Games: Cupid. If this book doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, I don’t know what will 😉 Don’t forget to read right to the end of the post to find out how you can win the Blissemas Grand Prize!

teaser_cupidReaching down to make sure she was ready for him, he looked up at her, startled, when she grabbed his wrist. “What?”

“Nothing. Just trust me, I’m wet enough. I want to feel your cock stretching me.”

Cassius was pretty sure he’d never heard anything so erotic in his life, long as it had been. He was also pretty sure it was the first of many incredibly sexy moments between them. Doing as she asked, he grasped his shaft and aimed it towards her entrance. Before he had a chance to do anything else, he felt Carina’s legs wrap around his back — and with surprising strength, she pulled him into her to the hilt.

“Fuuuuuuuuuuck!” he howled, his brain struggling to catch up with the sensations he was experiencing. She was wet, hot, and so fucking tight.

He looked down at Carina’s face, which held an expression of wonder. He kissed her lightly on the lips, before asking, “Are you all right?”

She nodded emphatically. “Yes, I’m just… I don’t know. I’ve never had it like this before.”

He knew what she meant. They’d only just started the main event, and already it had surpassed anything he’d ever experienced before. “Me either, and I’m not just saying that.”

“I know.” The look in her eyes was soft, adoring, and it became more so as he began to rock his hips. He grunted as she tightened her internal muscles against him.

“Hey,” he said gently, “Stop that. You’re driving me crazy enough without cheating.”

She giggled, then reached up to pull his face towards hers. Their lips met in a tender, yet bruising kiss that was laden with intent. Carina’s tongue forced its way into his mouth, and she sucked at his tongue, mimicking the actions his cock was making inside her.

A guttural moan emanated from his throat. This woman would be the death of him. Sexy. Fucking. Wench. His hips thrust in time to the words, and he picked up his pace, deliberately rolling his pubic bone across her clit with every stroke. The noises coming from the beautiful woman beneath him told him that she was enjoying herself just as much as he was, and it was just as well because he was holding back. His need for her was such that he wanted to go faster, harder, to thrust into her until she screamed so loudly the neighbours would hear.

He pulled away from their kiss, sucking in a huge breath. “Babe, you feel so good. I want to go faster, but I’m afraid I’ll come too soon.”

Carina’s eyes glinted, and she gave a wicked smile. “Give it all you’ve got, big boy. We’ve got all night.”

Laughing at her choice of words, he kissed her again—he just couldn’t get enough of those lips—then raised himself up once more and began to fuck her for all he was worth. His job—not to mention his species—meant that he was fit, and he got into an incredibly fast and furious rhythm. His gaze met hers, and they just looked into one another’s eyes in awe and wonder as they allowed their pleasure to wash over them, again and again, until it reached fever pitch.

“Oh,” he said, gritting his teeth to try and delay the inevitable, “I’m going to…”

Carina said nothing, instead bobbing her head up and down in agreement.

Taking extra care to stimulate her clit with each stroke, Cassius continued pounding into Carina’s wetness until his second orgasm hit him, with next to no warning. The shock made him lose control of his words, and as his cock twitched, spurting into the condom, he said, “Unnhh… fuck… I fucking love you. I love you.”

It wasn’t until he opened his eyes and looked into Carina’s wide, stunned ones, that he realised what he’d said — but she didn’t recoil, or laugh at him. Instead, she reached up to stroke his face, and said softly, “Do you mean that, or was it just the heat of the moment?”

The next day, Cassius was still berating himself. After making the decision to ask Carina out, things had gone spectacularly wrong. The kettle had barely boiled when she’d shouted to him. He’d gone back into the living room to find her pulling her socks and boots back on. It seemed she’d made her phone call and discovered that one of her colleagues was in the area, and was going to swing by and pick her up right away. In an extra blow of bad luck—in Cassius’ opinion—the colleague also had a trainee with him, so they’d be picking Carina’s van up at the same time, which meant she had no reason to come back.

Ever since he’d closed the door behind them—having signed for Simon’s parcel—he’d been in a spectacularly bad mood. What made it worse was the fact he had nobody to blame but himself. If he’d just asked her out when he’d first thought about it, then things would have been fine, if she’d said yes, of course. If she’d said no, he’d probably still have been in a bad mood, but at least he’d have known either way. Now he was in the unpleasant situation of having found someone he liked—and it had been a long time since that had happened—and having no way to contact them to ask them out and find out if the feeling was mutual.

He was emptying the dishwasher—and slamming the drawers and cupboard doors much harder than necessary—when a knock came at the door. Sighing, he headed towards the front door, ready to give the door-to-door salesman a piece of his mind before pointing at the sign on the lamppost across the street which declared that he lived in a “No Cold Calling Area.” He wasn’t usually the argumentative or confrontational type, but he relished the opportunity to take his mood out on someone.

Flinging the door open, Cassius froze in his ready-to-rant pose.

Carina stood in front of him, smiling shyly and brandishing a jar of Cadbury’s instant hot chocolate and a bag of mini marshmallows.

“Still up for that hot chocolate?” she said, looking hopeful.

Cassius’ awful mood dissipated as if it had never been there. He sent up a silent prayer of thanks to any deity that might be listening, then stood back and gestured Carina inside.

She removed her shoes and outerwear in the hallway, then moved into the living room at Cassius’ invitation and sat down. Cassius remained standing.

“So,” he said, realising that in his surprise, he hadn’t actually spoken to her yet, “what brings you here? And how’s the ankle?”

“Much better, thank you. I took your advice and rested up yesterday. I woke up this morning fully intending to call in sick if I was still in pain, but I’m absolutely fine. And to answer your other question, I’m here to say thank you. Things went so fast yesterday that I didn’t get chance to thank you properly, or to have a hot chocolate with you. So I’m here to do both, if that’s okay with you. I’m not keeping you from anything, am I?” She looked around, as if looking for evidence of what he’d been doing before she knocked on the door.

BlisseKiss Kissmas

It’s time for a very special Sunday Snog! This is the BlisseKiss Kissmas event – woohoo! It’s all about that simple yet unique act of touching lips and sharing souls.

CupidSo, without further ado, here’s my snog. It’s from my Christmas book, Reindeer Games: Cupid. It’s actually set in early January, but there’s definitely a holiday vibe about it!

Turning to face her, he felt simultaneous lurches in his chest and groin. She really was the most beautiful creature he’d ever seen. In all his long years, he didn’t think he’d felt quite this strongly about someone — and, if he was honest with himself, it scared him. Particularly since he knew it was going to kill him—not literally, of course—when they broke up.

“What’s the matter?” she asked.

Cassius shook his head, as though to rid himself of his maudlin thoughts. “Nothing,” he replied, stepping towards her, “I was just thinking about how beautiful you are.”

She lowered her eyes demurely, and a wash of colour crept across her cheeks. It was totally adorable, and Cassius’ rapidly swelling cock leapt in response. She seemed to get a grip on herself, and looked back up at him. “Thank you. You’re pretty damn gorgeous yourself. Now kiss me.”

“It would be my pleasure.” He leaned down to do just that, but then stopped. “Oh, hang on one moment.”

A little crease appeared between her eyebrows as he backed off. Then he walked over to his bedside table, removed his glasses and put them down. “Okay, I’m all yours.”

“Well, thank fuck for that! Come here.” She shuffled back on the bed until she was leaning against the pillows, and patted the space next to her.

Cassius didn’t hesitate. He noticed she’d already taken off her shoes, and he quickly pulled his off before joining her on the mattress and moving instantly into her open arms. Their lips met, and once more Cassius was astounded by the strength of feeling he had for this woman. It was as though she’d cast some kind of spell on him, almost like the mating bond that some of his kind experienced. But he’d never expected to feel that—his reindeer colleagues were all spoken for, and he’d never been attracted to any of the girls, anyway. He’d resigned himself to the fact that any attachments he had would be of the human, not supernatural, variety.

As his tongue slipped sensuously against Carina’s, and their hands wandered across each other’s bodies, he came to the conclusion that was just fine. If this was human love, then he was more than happy with it. Carina was perfect — and for the time being, at least, she was his.

Sunday Snog – Cupid

It’s time for another Sunday Snog, and I’ve been getting all festive with my other posts, so I thought it was time to get Christmassy with the snogs! So, without further ado, here’s my snog. It’s from last year’s holiday release, Reindeer Games: Cupid, which is a m/f shifter erotic romance. What if Santa’s reindeer were shifters? You’ll have to read it and find out…

Another Fab Review of Reindeer Games: Cupid

Yay – what a great start to the new year! Reindeer Games: Cupid, my paranormal erotic romance, has been reviewed by Manic Readers, and awarded a score of four and a half out of five!

Here’s what they had to say:

“Cassius Cupid is a mild-mannered postman 364 days a year, and one of Santa’s shifter reindeer one day a year. When the tables turn and sexy Carina delivers a package to Cupid, he is head over heels. But how can he ever explain to his love that he has to disappear for a few days at Christmas every year? While he dithers about explaining, Carina takes things in hand, literally and figuratively, and all is well with a surprising twist at the end, which I never expected. Another cute little story from this group that you will no doubt enjoy.”
