It was actually my birthday a few days ago, so Ella and I are both Leos 🙂 I went away for the weekend to the seaside. I walked on the beach, played 2p machines, visited a couple of National Trust properties and basically had fun. I also got soaked three times, I believe, as the heatwave England has been experiencing came to a halt in time for my birthday, grr! I had the usual presents, money, chocolate, a couple of pairs of shoes, some pyjamas. Shockingly, I had no toiletries for the first time in aaages! So, I’m not Irish, I don’t live in Ireland, I’ve never even visited (something I plan to rectify in the next few years!), or written a book set there. Later this year I do have a novella planned that has characters hailing from Ireland. For now, though, I’ll have to stick to the lucky in love element. That I can do, because I am lucky in love.
