A Curvy Girl’s Haven by Kristabel Reed (@KristabelReed @goddessfish) #giveaway

BLURB:

Dr. Arabella Stanton is back in Havenbrook, California, seeking a break from her work with Doctors Without Borders. Exhausted and haunted by memories of the refugee camps, she finds solace in the familiar yet changed landscape of her grandmother’s old town. She plans to rest, recuperate, and plan out her next steps—until a persistent knock at her door changes everything.

Garret de la Rosa, a Navy SEAL with his own shadows from missions past, is back in Havenbrook to recover and find some peace. When a mutual friend brings Arabella to his door, he’s bleeding from an injury, and neither expects the connection that sparks between them.

As Arabella and Garret navigate their growing attraction, they also face their personal demons and the reality that their lives are on different paths. Amidst the tranquil beauty of Havenbrook, they find themselves questioning their futures and what they truly want.

Excerpt:

Why subject herself to disappointment? No matter how attractive she found him, he was only being grateful. The fact she was ready for a new chapter in her life did not mean Garret would be any part of that new chapter.

“It was nice to see you. If you have any problems”—she made a small gesture to his side—“let me know.”

Arabella offered another smile and nod, and turned to leave.

“Doctor!” Garret called again. “I’m experiencing a problem.”

Frowning, she turned back around, already in doctor mode. “Oh, does it hurt? Is the pain more intense—”

“This beautiful woman,” he interrupted, “refused to go out with me. Twice! I need your advice. Is there anything I can do to convince her that lunch is harmless enough?”

Shocked, she wanted to give a sharp retort about leaving the woman alone if she said no. And then Arabella realized Garret was talking about her. She blinked and laughed, shaking her head at the ridiculousness of it all.

“Depends on where you want to have lunch.”

After all, if she had lunch with him, he’d stop trying to thank her. Because he’d already have thanked her. And they could both move on. Or something. That was logical reasoning, wasn’t it?

A reminder of what it’s all about:

An exciting opportunity could solve all Brianna’s problems. But will it ultimately create more?

Brianna Denton is a primary school teacher at the end of her tether. Budget cuts, changes in legislation and a pandemic have left her feeling like walking away from the only career she’s ever wanted. The trouble is, if she did quit, what would she do next? Living in London is expensive, and keeping on top of her rent and bills while retraining would be nigh-on impossible. An offer to move in with her best friend, Joel Harris, is appreciated, but feels way too much like charity for her liking.

But then Joel throws her a curveball. On a complete whim, he’s bought a fixer-upper cottage on a remote Scottish island. He wants to transform it into an uber-luxury holiday home and rent it out. To do that, however, he needs a skilled, reliable workforce and a project manager to keep things running smoothly. A visit to the island in question provides as many questions as answers, but one thing becomes clear – Brianna is the perfect woman for the job. She’s smart, organised, works well under duress, and if she can handle a classroom full of young children, surely a bunch of skilled tradesmen won’t be a problem. Working and living in such a stunning setting is a massive plus point, too.

Brianna takes a leap of faith, leaving her home and beloved career behind to help turn Joel’s dream into a reality. It’s a steep learning curve, but Brianna is definitely up for the challenge. But when working relationships develop into something more, will it bring the entire project crashing down around her ears, or is it simply the beginning of a whole new life?

Curve Appeal Cover Reveal and Pre-Order Announcement! #curveappeal #booktwitter #coverreveal #preorder #rh #rhromance #whychoose #reverseharemromance

Curve Appeal

Hi everyone,

I’m absolutely thrilled to reveal the cover for my upcoming standalone reverse harem romance novel, Curve Appeal! What do you think? I love it.

I don’t have a blurb yet, but the book is set on a remote Scottish island, where the main female character, Brianna, is managing a project to renovate a cottage. She has a gang of four contractors working on the project, and let’s just say there’s romance and sexy times and leave it at that for now, shall we?! 😉

I’ve set an initial release date of 31st May. It’s available to pre-order on Amazon, and will be in Kindle Unlimited for a single 90-day period after release. I’ll then release it to all the other usual retailers. It will also be available in paperback in May.

Pre-order yours here: https://books2read.com/curveappeal

Mid Week Tease: Why on earth did the man have such an effect on her? #bdsm #bbw #rubenesque #mfm #menage

mid-week-tease-buttonHi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! This week I’m sharing another snippet from my first-ever novel, Stately Pleasures. We’re on to chapter two now, and I’ll be switching to something else soon, so enjoy it while you can 😉

Stately PleasuresShe laughed, and Alice nodded because it was what was expected. But really, she didn’t know, and she now knew more about pregnancy and motherhood than she cared to. Ugh. She was a career girl through and through, and babies weren’t on her agenda for the foreseeable future, maybe never. If a maternal streak suddenly appeared, perhaps she’d reconsider. But at thirty, she doubted it would now. Not to mention the fact that she was missing a vital ingredient required for baby-making in the first place—a man.

As if by magic, a man appeared. Jeremy stepped from the gloomy hallway to their left and smiled at them. “Hello, ladies. Glad to see you here, Alice. I’m looking forward to working with you. I’m sure you’re going to be a valuable asset, more than capable of running the place when Erin here embraces motherhood.”

“Th-thank you, Mr Davenport. I can’t wait to get stuck in. I’m going to be like a sponge for the next couple of weeks, soaking up all the information Erin gives me.”

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, Alice’s face grew hot. What a stupid thing to say; she sounded like a child! It was just as well she’d signed the contract they’d biked over to her the previous week—at least they couldn’t sack her for saying something daft. Why on earth did the man have such an effect on her? His proximity meant she could smell his no doubt very expensive aftershave, and fuck, was it intoxicating. It certainly didn’t help her state of mind.
