Not Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate – Inspiration for a Choccyrotica Story by Slave Nano

More Smut for ChocoholicsMore Smut for Chocoholics is a collection of erotic short stories edited by Tilly Hunter and Kevin Blisse on the theme of chocolate. The anthology is all about over-indulgence and taking wicked delight in the erotic consumption and use of chocolate.  It includes stories by Tilly Hunter, Victoria Blisse, Aurelia T Evans, Lucy Felthouse, Ruby Madsen, Jacqueline Brocker, Vanessa de Sade, Wendi Zwaduk, Jillian Boyd, Nicole Gestalt, Annabeth Leong and Anna Sky.

My contribution to More Smut for Chocoholics is a story called ‘Los Conquistadores and the Goddess of Chocolate’. The story is a humorous one and follows two adventurers, Juan and Alonso who, inspired by stories about the legendary Aztec city, desert from Cortez’s army of conquistadores to seek out an erotic paradise fuelled by the drink xocolatl made from the cacao bean. In the story Juan and Alonso get to sample the aphrodisiacal qualities of the Aztec beverage. But be warned, this drink is no Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate!

Pouring chocolateIt was the Europeans who sweetened and lightened the drink by adding refined sugar and milk and it wasn’t until the 19th century when John Cadbury (why isn’t this man a saint!) developed an emulsification process to make solid chocolate to create the modern chocolate bar.

No, the Aztec version of drinking chocolate was a very different beast. The cocoa beans were ground to a powder and other ingredients, corn and spices such as chillies, were added. The resulting powder was mixed with cold water and stirred with a spoon until foam rose to the surface. The mixture would be poured from one ceramic vessel to another to enhance the foam. Sometimes it was prepared not as a beverage but with a texture more like porridge.

The resulting drink was dark, greasy, thick and bitter tasting. In fact, it sounds quite disgusting!

If you want to give it a try yourselves I’ve found a recipe for an authentic Aztec Chocolate Corn Drink:

¼ cup dry corn

1 Mexican vanilla bean (cooked in 1 cup water)

¼ lb cocoa beans, dark roasted

¾ cup honey

Dried chilli peppers to taste

Toast the corn in a dry frying pan and soak overnight in a cup of water. The next day grind the cocoa beans in a blender with enough hot water to form a sauce then mix in the honey and ground dried chillies. Boil the vanilla bean in a cup of water for about 10 minutes and add that to the corn and chocolate mixture. Blend all the ingredients together with icy water. The chillies are optional!

So, there you go – an authentic Aztec xocolatl as experienced by Juan and Alonso, the two conquistadores in my story. I’ve got to confess I’ve not tried the recipe myself. I think I’ll stick to a bar of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk!

Story extract

The high priestess had laid out ceramic vessels at the foot of the great statue of Ixcacao.  She had taken the red pods of the cocoa plant and ground their beans into a powder.  She blended a small amount of corn and other secret spices.  This was all mixed with water and stirred in the ceramic bowl until froth rose to the top of the mixture.  She poured the drink out into a set of smaller ceramic bowls decorated with the image of a jaguar-headed man.

“The xocolatl is prepared, “announced Ixquic.  “You must come forward and receive it.”

The two men were accompanied out of the plunge pool.  Alonso felt a bit disappointed; he was enjoying the attention of the girls, but Juan was eager with anticipation.  This was the moment he had been waiting for, the fulfilment of the erotic visions old Gonzalo had described to him.  The high priestess gestured to them to kneel in front of the statue of Ixcacao.

“You are privileged.  This is the food of the Goddess.”

She offered a bowl to each of them and at the foot of the statue and in the presence of her high priestess decorated in gold jewellery they took their first tentative sips.  At first they both pulled a face.  They didn’t know what to expect.  The beverage was thick, more like porridge than a drink.  It was greasy, dark and bitter.  They took a few more sips, conscious that this was clearly a ritual that should not be rushed and, in any case, the texture of the drink was such it could hardly be guzzled down.  It was Alonso who reacted first.

“Hmm, I’m not sure.  It’s a bit bitter.  I reckon if you added something to sweeten it and some milk to make it creamier and then squashed it down into little solid blocks you might be onto something.”

“Little blocks?  You come up with the most idiotic of ideas Alonso!”

Steel Horses and Hot Women by Annabeth Leong (@annabethleong)

Heated Leather LoverI’ll never forget the first time I got on a motorcycle. The noise rushed through me, filling me with the sort of adrenaline I get as part of a frenzied concert crowd. The speed and maneuverability made me feel at one with the road. And the rumble between the legs—well, it was like sitting on an industrial-strength vibrator while riding a roller coaster.

It only took one ride to turn me on to the reasons some people go crazy for women on bikes.

To my great regret, I’ve never learned to operate a motorcycle myself, though I hope to someday. My experience riding as a passenger taught me plenty, though, and when Ellora’s Cave put out a call for its Hot Pink series—stories of lesbian erotic romance—it didn’t take long for me to envision Tam, a smoking hot butch on a steel horse, and Yasmin, the woman who can’t get enough of her.

Excerpt:

Tam rode faster than she should have, but it was hard to hold back with Yasmin’s soft warmth nestled against her. She sped out of town and onto the coastal highway, accelerating until the wind cooled her despite the heat Yasmin inspired.

Day began to transition to night. Sunlight slanted sideways, transforming the dull, flat landscape into something honey-dipped and full of possibility. Yasmin worked her delicate fingers under Tam’s leather jacket, then under her shirt, lightly stroking Tam’s stomach. Tam liked the way Yasmin felt but worried about her ability to operate the motorcycle under her influence. She laid a hand over Yasmin’s in warning and the exploring fingers stilled. They remained in place against Tam’s bare skin, though, impossible to ignore. Butterflies gathered in Tam’s stomach, on the other side of her skin from those delicious fingers.

Tam clenched her jaw, doing her best to stay cool. She steered the bike with familiar expertise, making it roar, then purr. She imagined doing the same to Yasmin, working the other woman’s clit with just such a knowing touch, drawing the right noises at the right time from those big, soft lips and making her back arch with pleasure. The bike’s seat vibrated under her crotch, steadily increasing her awareness of her arousal. She hoped it affected Yasmin in exactly the same way.

They rode farther south, ocean waves crashing against the beach to their left. Water gripped at land and flailed against it, making Tam think of tangled legs and pounding rhythms. She took a deep breath and pulled the bike over onto the shoulder.

“Why are we stopping?” Yasmin’s coy tone of voice told Tam she knew damn well.

Tam looked over her shoulder at her breathtaking companion, almost afraid to let her gaze land full-force on the other woman. “Where do you want to do this?” Desire almost choked off the words.

Yasmin responded with a blissful smile. “Anywhere.”

Blurb:

When Tam Bouie rides into town on her motorcycle, she finds the welcoming committee of her dreams. In a bar called Issues, the beautiful femme Yasmin Miller seems to have been waiting for a butch on a steel horse to sweep her off her feet.

Yasmin has a serious fetish for women in leather and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants—until she discovers that Tam isn’t just passing through. Convinced that their town is too small for the explosive love affair that threatens to ignite, and the possible fallout if it goes sour, Yasmin drops Tam as quickly as she picked her up.

Tam, however, doesn’t give up easily, and Yasmin’s resolutions to stay away from her won’t mean a thing if she can’t resist the sexy butch’s heated leather love.

One Flesh by Annabeth Leong

One FleshBlurb:

Leticia and Rosalie are planning their wedding, wanting very much to make their special day one to remember, but Rosalie has something else weighing on her mind, one more thing she wants to make as special and as memorable as the ceremony itself—their wedding night. Rosalie wants to be with Leticia in a way that neither of them had ever been with anyone else. But finding something that would be a first time for both of them turns out to be harder than expected.

As it turns out, there is one thing Leticia has wanted to do but has never trusted anyone enough to allow herself to overcome the fear of it. And it’s something that Rosalie has never done either.

The women discuss the idea of fisting as a means of connecting and forming an intimate bond with each other, one that they’ve never formed with anyone else. They’ve never loved or trusted anyone else they way the love and trust each other, and they are determined to find a way to make it work.

Excerpt:

“I’ll call tomorrow to tell the church how many flowers we want to order,” Leticia said, sighing and folding her notebook closed. No matter how many neat lists she made with her favorite purple pen, the sheer quantity of wedding-related details was overwhelming. “Can you call the caterer back, Rosalie? I still feel like they sneaked a charge in somewhere, but I can’t get a straight answer out of them about it.”

Her fiancée smiled indulgently. “Better yet. I’ll go in person on my lunch break, and they won’t know what hit them.”

“Great.” Leticia rubbed her temples and closed her eyes. She’d wanted to go to bed early, but another evening of wedding planning had made that completely impossible. She was excited to be marrying her one true love and all, but it was easy to lose track of that when she had fourteen phone calls to make and her mother demanded an e-mailed progress report every single night. “That’s got to be enough for now.”

Leticia stole a quick glance at Rosalie. She’d changed into a cute pair of pajamas when she got home from work, the childish pattern an odd contrast with her sophisticated coppery makeup. Leticia briefly fantasized about peeling the clothing away, revealing her lover’s curves and smooth brown skin. Unfortunately, at that very same moment, she had to stifle a yawn. She was so damn sleepy. They would need to get to bed immediately if she was going to give Rosalie proper attention.

“We can’t quit planning yet,” Rosalie said. “We haven’t discussed the most important thing, and it’s coming up soon.”

Leticia groaned. She flipped her notebook open again and paged through her color-coded, highlighted lists. “We’ve talked about everything I had listed for the day, and we even went over things that have deadlines coming up in the next few days. I don’t see what we’re—”

“The wedding night,” Rosalie purred. “We haven’t discussed that at all.”

There was no mistaking the sparkle in her eyes. Leticia actually blushed, the way she had at Rosalie’s makeup counter the first time they met, when the other woman’s soft words of praise, roughened by the obvious desire in her voice, had gotten Leticia so hot and flushed it had been impossible to identify the correct shade of foundation for her skin tone. She’d been forced to come back later, not that she’d minded.

Now that she’d figured out what Rosalie was hinting at, Leticia played innocent. For all her lover’s passion, her Catholic upbringing had left her with an adorable aversion to using direct language. Leticia loved to watch Rosalie get flustered while trying to explain her naughty desires. She batted her eyelashes and focused on her notes again. “We’ve reserved our hotel room the night of. We’ve got our plane tickets to Puerto Rico for the honeymoon a couple days after that. Everything appears to be in order.”

“The wedding night,” Rosalie said, apparently oblivious to Leticia’s teasing. She rolled her hands through the air, one over the other, the gesture an invitation to take the word “night” and run with it. “The whole reason I wanted an afternoon wedding was so we could have plenty of time together. Afterward. In the hotel.”

“You mean to take a good, long nap? I’m sure we’ll be tired after dealing with all the guests, and coming down from pre-wedding nerves, too.” Leticia couldn’t resist continuing the act.

“Not a nap. But I am talking about what we might do in bed.” Now Rosalie colored, a deep red undertone becoming visible beneath the screen of her makeup.

Leticia composed her face as much as she could manage and shrugged. “Oh, are you talking about sex?” A giggle threatened to slip through at Rosalie’s incredulous, exasperated expression. “I don’t know. I’ve read tons of articles about how people get so exhausted from all the things leading up to a wedding that they don’t even really want to have sex by the time the day is done. We’ll have plenty of time for that later in the honeymoon, won’t we?”

“Don’t even really want to have sex,” Rosalie repeated slowly, as if the phrase was a math problem and she couldn’t quite work it out. Her forehead wrinkled in utter puzzlement. A snort burst from Leticia. Realization dawned on Rosalie’s face. She grabbed a tissue from the box on the table and tossed it at her. They’d both collapsed in giggles by the time the thin paper floated airily to the floor beside Leticia.

Leticia allowed the force of her laughter to pull her off the chair. She crawled the short space to Rosalie’s chair and raised one brown foot to her lips. Leticia did enjoy a little foot worship now and then, but her current mood was far from reverent. Slowly, carefully, she slipped her mouth over Rosalie’s polished big toe. She licked until Rosalie’s breathing changed, confused between laughter and moaning. Then Leticia lifted off the toe and pressed her mouth to the sole of Rosalie’s foot. She inhaled, gripped the ankle tightly, and blew a powerful raspberry.

Rosalie squealed and tried to get away. Leticia smiled but kept up the wet, ticklish vibrations. Rosalie’s foot jerked in her hands. Leticia kept hold easily. She had plenty of practice restraining patients, which happened to have fun applications at home.

Rosalie writhed as she laughed. Leticia drew breath for another raspberry, but cut her eyes up as much as she dared. She didn’t want to miss the sight of her lover, breasts bouncing under her shirt as her rib cage shook, hips rolling as she struggled to get away, face squeezed tight as if to ward off the unbearable sensation of being tickled. Effectively, this previewed Rosalie’s orgasm. Warm arousal spread through Leticia’s body as she forced Rosalie to stay in this state, and as she looked forward to seeing the real thing very soon.

Rosalie rained playful blows onto Leticia’s head. “Why the hell am I marrying you?” It took forever for her to get the sentence out, as she had to gasp each word between shrieking laughs.

Leticia grinned and tugged at her lower legs. Her lover took the hint and rolled out of the chair to join her on the floor. Leticia wrapped her arms around Rosalie, who felt small and hot and curvy. She slipped one hand down to tickle between her ribs, rewarded by another delicious howl. Rosalie shoved at her chest. “You are evil, I swear.”

“I’m sorry,” Leticia said softly, managing to sound sincerely regretful. She kissed Rosalie’s temples with great tenderness, until her lover relaxed and stopped wriggling. Leticia murmured more soothing words, rubbing Rosalie’s back… then licked the side of her face.
