New Release: Anything She Wants

I’m happy to announce that I’m part of Ladylit’s first multi-author lesbian erotica anthology, Anything She Wants. My story is called Loving the Lady. I wrote most of it on a coach, going to and from London! Here’s the skinny:

In the office, on the set of a movie or on the bathroom floor, the ladies in this anthology don’t care where they get it on. Power play, first time encounters and office rivalry get the characters in these twelve stories so riled up, the only way to go is down and dirty. Tales of spanking, a wild all-female college party and a waitress with a strap-on grace the pages of Ladylit’s first multi-author lesbian erotica anthology.

Caution: Reading ‘Anything She Wants’ will make you wet!

Stories by Kay Jaybee, Laila Blake, Lucy Felthouse, Erzabet Bishop, Sarah Ellen, L.C. Spoering, Vanessa de Sade, Kelly Lawrence, Giselle Renarde, Alyssa Linn Palmer, Ariel Graham and Harper Bliss.

Guest Blogger: Erzabet Bishop

I’m delighted to have Erzabet Bishop here to talk about Smut by the Sea and what inspired her to write a story for the second volume. Take it away, Erzabet!

Thanks for having me here today to talk about Smut by the Sea Volume 2! If you are looking for stories that resonate ocean themed vacations and waterside fun,  this book is for you. If you missed the first volume, you should definitely pick up a copy. That is where I first fell in love with the extraordinary combination of Lucy Felthouse and Victoria Blisse and the very talented authors within.  Every story in the first book screamed ocean getaway and I knew I had to write one for the second volume. Whether it is a saucy romp through an ice cream parlor or a boardwalk escapade, these volumes will make your summer.

My story is about an author that has moved to the seaside and has a crush on her lovely neighbor Allyse. Hesitant about her feelings, she looks longingly from afar until one day when Allyse invites her over for lunch. The story is a tale of mermaids, awakening passions and the sea. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

Excerpt from Cerulean by Erzabet Bishop

“Hello neighbour.”

I turned around and there was Allyse, a shimmering robe loosely draped around her, barely secured with the tie. The fluttering of the breeze loosened it and I felt my mouth go dry as the covering slipped and I caught a peek of an erect nipple before she adjusted it back in place.

“Hi yourself.” A blush was creeping up my neck and I struggled not to let on how she was affecting me.

“I was wondering what you were doing for lunch.” Allyse tossed her red hair and the sun flashed in her cerulean eyes.

Oh wow.

Just for fun:

Favorite ice cream: anything chocolate

Cheeseburgers or sushi: Bring on the burgers

Monster movies or classics: Monsters all the way.

Beer or wine: Neither. Water please.

Favorite snack while writing: Chocolate covered bridge mix

And here’s an excerpt from my story, On the Big Wheel:

Brigit loved the seaside. She always had, probably because visiting it was a rarity. Living in the centre of England meant that even the nearest seaside town was over an hour and a half away—and the nice resorts even further.

Which was why her boyfriend, Allen, proposed a long weekend in Brighton. He knew how fond she was of the seaside. Unsurprisingly, she agreed delightedly.

“It’s a long way,” she said. “But it doesn’t matter. We’d never go anywhere if we lamented the length of the journey.”

As it happened, the travelling wasn’t too bad. Miraculously the M1 was clear all the way down to the M25—and even that notorious motorway wasn’t experiencing its usual havoc. A straight shot south on the M23, then the A23 took them towards Brighton, and they navigated the one-way systems and lack of road signs and—eventually—found their hotel.

“Wow,” Brigit said, stretching luxuriously after getting out of the car, “that didn’t take as long as I thought. Shall we check in, dump our bags and go and explore?”

“Sounds like a plan to me,” Allen replied with a grin.

They slammed their respective car doors, grabbed the bags from the boot and headed into the hotel. Fifteen minutes later, after using the toilet and freshening up, they were back outside.

“Nice choice of hotel, babe. I like it.” Brigit said.

“I’m glad. I researched it well,” Allen replied.

“The bed looks nice and comfy.”

“Well, I’m sure we’ll be able to give it a decent road test later.” He winked at her, and got a slap on the arm for his trouble.

“You’ve got a one-track mind, you have.”

“Well, what do you expect when I’ve got a girlfriend that looks like you?”

She giggled. “Charmer.”

“That’s me. Okay, now I’m back in good books,” Allen said, “what do you want to do? Now, I mean. Not at bedtime.” He waggled his eyebrows.

Brigit stuck her tongue out at him before replying. “I dunno. Just look around I guess. Get our bearings. See what there is to do around here.”

They walked hand-in-hand towards the seafront, then along it in the direction of the pier. They passed the burnt out shell of the West Pier, and Brigit wondered aloud whether it would ever be rebuilt or demolished. Or would the blackened skeleton be left there forevermore, a reminder of what once was.

Soon, they drew close to Brighton Pier. Brigit turned to Allen with a grin.

“What?” he said, then followed her almost manic gaze down the length of the pier, towards a building with fake turret-type things and some very real flags. He sighed. He couldn’t be sure from here, but he thought it was bound to be the amusement arcade. “Oh, you want to go in there, do you? I wonder why?” His voice was laden with sarcasm in his last sentence.

“You know damn well why. Come on!” Brigit tugged him along the last few metres of the pavement and onto the wooden slats of the pier. “Ooh, we can have fish and chips when we come out, if you want.”

The Latest News!

So, things have been rather crazy around here just lately, in terms of me being incredibly busy, and also this blog being incredibly busy with all the awesome posts and guest bloggers I’ve had on. So, I’m taking advantage of this free day on the site to blog about what I’ve been up to!

I’ve been doing lots (and lots!) of work in the day job, creating new websites, doing PR for my clients, and so on. Writer Marketing Services has never been busier, which is fabulous. As a result, I’ve been really pushed for time writing-wise, which has made me all the more determined to write harder, and faster, not to mention better. I’m not panicking just yet, though, because I’ve had a few new releases come out since I last did an update blog, and I have more coming.

So, here’s the lowdown on my latest and upcoming books:

Smut for Chocoholics

This little baby hit the digital shelves in the past couple of weeks, and contains my story, Not Just Desserts.

Sensual, sinful chocolately indulgence  is the theme of this erotic anthology, edited by Kevin Mitnik, with assistance from Victoria Blisse.

Smut for Chocoholics is all about indulgence, taking wicked delight in the erotic consumption and use of chocolate, with tales from some of erotica’s finest authors.. Whatever your relationship with the seductive cocoa, there’s something nestling between the covers for you.

Contains tales from Victoria Blisse, Giselle Renarde, Lexie Bay, Annabeth Leong, Lily Harlem, Violet Fields, Nicole Gestalt, Tamsin Flowers, Tenille Brown, Vanessa de Sade, Wendi Zwaduk and Lucy Felthouse.

The Master

This story is my first from several that have been commissioned from Nexus – another four will hit the digital shelves over coming months. It is called The Unexpected Submissive, and the anthology will be available from April 1st – though you can pre-order now.

The Master is a collection of short stories selected and edited by Peter Birch, all on the theme on the dominant male. This is erotica, proud and uninhibited, with eight stories from seven different authors chosen for their knowledge and experience as well as for their ability to write. From the subtle touch of Lucy Felthouse to Penny Birch’s unabashed delight in submission, all are designed to thrill, exploring both fantasy and reality to the very edge of what is permissible.

Smut by the Sea Volume 2

Fellow Northern Bird Victoria Blisse and myself are currently finishing up the edits for this anthology, and hope to have it off to the publisher very, very soon, likely to be released in early April. As well as editing this book, it contains my story, On the Big Wheel.

The Mammoth Book of Quick and Dirty Erotica

My story, On the Night Bus, appears in this awesome anthology, edited by Maxim Jakubowski. This is my first Mammoth print release, and I was very happy to be included.

Over 130 pieces of very short erotic fiction in categories from first times to bondage.

Over 130 short, short erotic stories of about 1,500 words each, or over 500 pages of outstanding erotica in bite-sized pieces, exploring the full range of human sensual and sexual experience.

Each one of eight sections is devoted to a specific erotic kink, such as spanking, submission, voyeurism, uniforms or bondage, providing an astonishing diversity of erotica between the covers of one book.

Despite its length, this short-form erotica from the world’s leading writers remains inventive, provocative, sensual, and above all intelligent. These are sexual adventures to intrigue, shock, puzzle, and both scare and arouse. Mere titillation is never enough.

You can check out an excerpt here, and pre-order the paperback. Other links will be added as soon as they become available: https://lucyfelthouse.co.uk/published-works/the-mammoth-book-of-quick-dirty-erotica/

So, as well as these exciting developments, I have signed a contract for a co-author novel with a fellow writer, and I’ll dish the dirt as soon as I’m able. Naturally, I’m very excited about it, as I think it’s going to be the start of a whole series of books, which is excellent. I’m still waiting for news on my novel, which is currently with a publisher. However, just last week I had a short story acceptance, subject to publisher approval, so I’m not naming names until I’ve signed a contract, and also had a novella accepted by another publisher. I haven’t received the contract for that yet, either, so I’ll say as soon as I can. There’s plenty coming up, it has to be said, so I’m ecstatic about that.

I’m also very happy about my nomination for The Romance Reviews Best Book of 2012. I posted about this the other day, but in case you didn’t see it, Off the Shelf was nominated in the Best Erotic Romance – Contemporary Romance category. If you’re so inclined, I would absolutely love your votes, as my competition is incredibly stiff, and I’d love to see my first novella – a book I adored writing – win an award! Voting is here.
